A little off topic but, the work force is defenitily 'richer' in Northern Europe than Southern.
A friend of mine runs a pub in Spain, he says he can't hire Spaniards because they don't want to work, especially not on weekend when he has most customers. The welfare systems are too generous. He hire mostly Scandinavians instead.
