I heard the gov of Lousiada say he wasnt going to accept it - he is going to wait it out - and see if OBAMA is thrown out of office-

What if I had a $25,000 hospital bill?

$3,600 premium
$5,000 deductible
$8,000 40% of the bill
______
$16,600 just about my entire wages in a year!

Anything more than that and I would have to file for bankrupcy
insurance or no insurance.

How does this help anyone?
Not to mention the $300 premiums would insure that I have to go
on food stamps or give up eating or buying anything besides insurance
rent and gas/car insurance and utilities.

I know people are sick of seeing these threads but this is disastrous for me.

It's not meant to "protect" you, it's meant to drain you financially. Tax on the poor. Even if you can afford the insurance how many poor people can afford the out of pocket stuff? None.

Any state that doesnt fall in line will begin losing funding. It's how they passed the seat belt laws,the auto insurance laws,the 55 mph laws,and probably a slew of others I cant think of off the top of my head.

Oh Yes, I know that.
Has anyone ever finished reading the entire legislation?
Does it have a provision where medical cost can not be used as
a basis for bankruptcy like student loans?

Just think about how on top of those premiums if you had to pay those
out of pocket expenses broken down monthly, too,or take out a loan, GOD forbid!

Talk about catastrophic.
This is insane.
All I wanted to do was take care of myself like I've been doing at the health food store.
Never sick with anything much.
So I'll be paying for a policy I'll never use or at least not for another 15 years probably.
Because I couldn't AFFORD to ever use it anyway!
