Unfortunately you progressives don't understand a few simple facts. The first is that there is not enough money among the so called wealthy in the US to pay down much of anything. The entire worlds GDP is $9K per person.

So if the Soros/Obama dream of wealth redistribution were realized we'd all be in horrific abject poverty. So as a matter of fact I don't care if the wealthy pay any tax at all. In fact the fewer taxes anyone pays the better the system IMHO.

I'm actually glad they only need pay 15% on their capital gains. You know what's ironic? When the capital gains tax was higher, government receipts due to capital gains was smaller. Liberals don't understand this, because they ignore cause and effect. High capital gains taxes cuts off investments and moves money overseas. The ultra rich don't need the US, they can just say bye and take their money with them.

Now here's my intelligence test for liberals. Capital gains tax increases are known to decrease government revenues. Therefore we should
A) Increase them anyway. The rich don't deserve their wealth. Crack whores and freeloading immigrants deserve that wealth. The rich should be shot and their money confiscated.
B) Try decreasing taxes, maybe the economic growth will lift all boats and result in more government revenue as has happened almost every time it's been tried in the past (e.g. under Reagan, Clinton, JFK, and the Arab Sheik who first experimented with the idea).
