Terry Jones has burned more copies of the Koran and a depiction of the prophet Mohammed to protest the imprisonment in Iran of a Christian clergyman, The Gainesville Sun reported.

The newspaper said Jones and another pastor, who carried out their protest in front of their church in Gainesville, Florida on Saturday, demanded the release of Christian pastor Youcef Nadarkhani from an Iranian prison.
Jones said Nadarkhani faces execution.

According to the report, the Pentagon urged Jones to reconsider, expressing concern that American soldiers in Afghanistan and elsewhere could be put at greater risk because of the act.

The best kind of Muslim is a "Bad One". Ostensibly Muslim, doesn't drink, doesn't eat pork, prays as regularly as he can, practices Zakat but otherwise just goes about his life and fits in.

Boko Haram attack church at Kano University - 20 confirmed dead
Attackers armed with bombs and guns opened fire at outdoor church services at a Nigerian university on Sunday, killing around 20 people as worshippers tried to flee, witnesses and officials said.

A powerful explosion and gunfire rocked Bayero University in the northern city of Kano, with witnesses reporting that two church services were targeted as they were being held outdoors on the campus.

Officials were unable to confirm casualty figures, but an AFP correspondent counted six bullet-riddled bodies near one of the two sites.

At least 15 people have been killed in a gun and bomb attack at a university in Nigeria's northern city of Kano, witnesses and police said.

The beheaded body of a kidnapped Red Cross doctor has been found dumped by a roadside in Pakistan.

British doctor Khalil Rasjed Dale, 60, was kidnapped by suspected militants on January 5 while on his way home from work near the city of Quetta, in Pakistan's south-west.
