The man is a realist just facing reality. I would say he is prudent and wise in his judgment.
Those people in West Texas are the last remnants of a once strong and mighty nation!

Agreed. Sounds like they have a great Sheriff in that County.
That kind of backbone exists in most if not all states though; not just Texas.

RE: Texas Judge Preparing for Civil War if Obama Re elected
"The judge spun the elaborate conspiracy theory while calling for a 1.7 cent hike per $100 on property taxes in Lubbock County, a measure being considered by the commission there. He said he feared Obama would hand over sovereignty of the United States to the United Nations and the unrest would naturally follow."

Some are afraid that Obama will raise taxes so LETS RAISE TAXES.
What a farce
What none of you know is that he was later quoted saying:
"“Does that mean that I think the U.N. is going to come rolling into Lubbock?
No, that probably is not going to happen,” Head said."

RE: Texas Judge Preparing for Civil War if Obama Re elected
snip:
Judge Tom Head (credit: Lubbock County)
In the event of civil unrest Judge Head said he’s concerned the President would hand over sovereignty of the United States to the U.N. and that the American public would react violently.
“He’s going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the U.S. to the United Nations, what’s going to happen when that happens?” Judge Head told FOX 34 in Lubbock.
“I’m thinking worse case scenario,” Judge Head explained. “Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe…we’re not just talking a few riots or demonstrations.”
The West Texas judge’s proposed tax increase is to help the sheriff’s office hire a law enforcement large enough to protect the county and to drive away the invaders.
“I don’t want rookies,” Head said flatly. “I want trained, equip and seasoned veteran officers to back me.”

So the pig wants the taxpayers to fund his private army? I don't think so.

Love the comment about "demonstrations" as if he's channeling "Occupy"
This is probably one of the Einsteins that said "Get a job you dirty hippies" to "Occupy". Yet is it just me that finds his diatribe hypocritical? So, it's patriotic to stand up against tyranny, if it's the black dude in the Honky House (white house anyone?), but if it's all races standing against banksters it's just communism? Sounds about like a normal Xtian conservative parrot to me. The lack of conscious thought (or the ability to think at all for that matter) in the USA is at an astounding low. Better get back to church Jim Bob, your brain is running low on someone Else's beliefs.

So what you're saying is... if the UN comes to the US and starts firing on US citizens... then it's perfectly fine with you?

A civil war? I don't think so.
If he loses, blacks might loot and burn down their neighborhoods, but who cares?

The odds of that happening are so slim that it really isn't worth replying. Even if it did happen do you realize how little chance they would have of succeeding?
Excuse me for being leery of judges and sheriffs who mention civil war. Especially when they are a part of the system that just ordered over 1.5 billion rounds of hollow point bullets.
They want war. To hell with them.

Ever served your country? I am a vet, and am *more* than entitled to my beliefs, regardless of what you want to believe or want to spew.
As far as the UN....I'll get on the band wagon when they show up. Until that time, I see no need for me to propagate fear and idiocy by climbing into the shelter over "what-ifs". I'd recommend counseling if the fear is taking over your life. Maybe take a break from LOP for a while...and definitely stay away from the "news"....all constant exposure will do for you is make you more paranoid and fearful. "Take Luck" - Brian Regan quote
