It's telling how you try to "own" the whole state with a "culture". Isn't that a little mmm lets say greedy? Doesn't anyone else have a right to contribute a different culture to the state?

are you saying that people who don't talk with a pretend southern accent (when they probably live 30 minutes from a large city) and don't pretend to be cowboys (when they've likely never ridden a horse) are not 100% Texan?

I went to high school in Virginia saw many many kids wearing cowboy hats and cowboy boots, then I transferred to Texas and not one kid in the whole school wore a cowboy hat and boots.
