The chemtrail conspiracy theory holds that some trails left by aircraft are actually chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes, for purposes undisclosed to the general public in clandestine programs directed by government officials.

As a result of the popularity of the conspiracy theory, official agencies have received thousands of complaints from people who have demanded an explanation. The existence of chemtrails has been repeatedly denied by government agencies and scientists around the world, who say the trails are normal contrails.

The United States Air Force maintains that the theory is a hoax which “has been investigated and refuted by many established and accredited universities, scientific organizations, and major media publications”. The United Kingdom’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has stated that, “chemtrails are not scientifically recognized phenomena.” The Canadian Leader of the Government in the House of Commons has rejected the idea of chemtrails as being a “popularised expression” adding that “there is no scientific evidence to support their existence.”

The term chemtrail is derived from “chemical trail” in the similar fashion that contrail is a portmanteau of condensation trail.

It does not refer to common forms of aerial spraying such as crop dusting, cloud seeding, skywriting, or aerial firefighting. The term specifically refers to aerial trails allegedly caused by the systematic high-altitude release of chemical substances not found in ordinary contrails, resulting in the appearance of uncharacteristic sky tracks. Supporters of this conspiracy theory speculate that the purpose of the chemical release may be for solar radiation management, population control, weather control, or biological warfare/chemical warfare and claim that these trails are causing respiratory illnesses and other health problems. Quite some story that eh.

The US military has been experimenting in the weather since the '60's. In 1967 they were accused by Mexico of directing hurricanes towards Mexico by dropping anhydrous ammonia chloride down the inner wall in the eye of a hurricane. [they were definitely doing that]

The US denied such action but were told by Mexico if they caught them again it was an act of WAR.

After that the weather manipulation program had to go covert.
1970 patents are made by the US military pertaining to heating of the atmosphere using a ground based station and a satellite crossing radio waves on the right frequencies to ionize polarize water vapor in the air [and later barium aluminum Quartz etc you know the stuff in chem-trails] and then switch the polarized gas back and forth quickly.
This is exactly how a microwave oven heats food.

Today we call these stations HARRP and it has many applications.

By 1990 we see the Chinese and Russians also playing with the weather, this starts to become obvious to intellegent meteorologists that something is up.

Enter global warming the cover story for all of this. A story was needed to give first the weather men who were not in on it and later the public to explain the extreme weather patterns.

This technology is known in the military as a force multiplier and was used in Desert Storm the make a sandstorm to cover tank movements in the now famous rush of tanks.

Lately we see china and the US trying to fry or drown each other as the US tries and destroy the Three Gorges dam with extreme rainfall and the Chinese direct a number of Hurricanes toward the US and make conditions favorable to the formation of Hurricanes.

That is the chessboard, move and counter move.

To manipulate the weather of another country is illegal under international treaty.

If it's a natural phenomenon then we should see long lasting contrails from military aircraft just as often as we see them from commercial aircraft, right? But the only one's I've ever see are wingtip contrails and those dissipate back into the air a couple hundred meters behind the aircraft.

What are chemtrails? I have no idea. But they don't appear to be natural contrails to me or else we'd see them on all aircraft. What would happen when stealth aircraft left long lasting contrails? They wouldn't be so stealthy anymore.

I don't think chemtrails are used for sinister reasons... but they are used to combat global warming and there may be adverse latent functions.
