you aren't seeing the threads that bash that we do close. Sometimes, we don't see it, and no one has reported it. Yes. We have banned folks doing too much christian bashing and have told others to cool it.

Look I understand you all are trying... But this issue has been boiling here now for a while, and had steadily gotten worse. And Christian users have been bailing in droves. Users that aren't pushy about there beliefs, but are SICK of the abuse!

I think there are times it goes overboard, but when it's Paultard bashing, I think it discredits the bashers when they go overboard.

People's religious beliefs are certainly more personal than some stupid political fanboydom,

but I don't understand why religious conviction isn't enough to not care what other people say in most cases.

there are more than a few religious forums on the net, i am sure you would be much more comfortable at one of those...

Because besides being a Christian, I am a Conspiracy buff. And GOOD conspiracy forums are few and far between. I don't really care what they think, but I feel as if I have a right to be here without constant abuse and trolling! As anyone should! I would feel the same if it was a group of Christians spewing hate filled rhetoric and constantly practicing abusive trolling! But that's not happening!

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Christian, too, but I don't push my personal beliefs on to anybody. The anti-Christians are drawn like flies to honey every time a Christian thread pops up. Why is that? Seems they have a real hatred for us, not realizing some of us walk our talk.

Yes, the Bible is a book of morals of which the world, in this present time, is woefully deficient, full of deceit and willful dishonesty. Manners have all but taken a back seat to insults and just plain rudeness.

There are Christians (and people from other religions) who show up on many threads on various forums and tell people how wrong and without hope they are, setting up adversarial relationships, so you're paying for what others have done. I stay away from most religious talk because it's so frequently insults and arguing.

There are other sites that are more friendly and less accepting of harassment, but usually not as varied and interesting as LOP. I hope instead of leaving you watch more for friendly threads and report those who try to destroy them, but there is bashing here, from all sides and covering all topics, and unfortunately it's impossible to totally avoid. I flounced once for that reason, but returned because there are so many nice people.

Oh they ARE gone!!! Lol have you not noticed? Your's and Arch Phoenix's campaign to run off Christians here , has been quite successful! And the worst part is, not only were they active users, who contributed much here, they also weren't pushy and did not force their religious views on people. But you obviously can't even handle having those types here either!
