The Gospel according to Mark,Two clues that we are living in the end times
The first is
Mark 13:17
"but woe to those who are pregnant and to those nursing babies in those days!
This instantly made me think of the clusterfuck in Fukushima. Then the second one is something about a heavily debated topic here also, the time speeding up feeling some of us share.
Mark 13:20
And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved;but for the elect's sake, whom he chose,He shortened the days.

Mark 13:20

Mark 13:17

Jesus also said to pray that their FLIGHT wouldn't be during winter. It wouldn't be easy carrying a nursing infant while running from an invasion.
Then the second one is something about a heavily debated topic here also, the time speeding up feeling some of us share.
Mark 13:20
And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved;but for the elect's sake, whom he chose,He shortened the days.
Yes, they say that time is speeding up, but there are still 24 hrs. in a day. That verse could mean, also, that TPTB will not have time enough to carry out their planned population exterminations.
Isaiah 28:14-15 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
Because ye have said, "We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
Isaiah 28: 18 And your league with death shall be abolished, and your covenant with hell shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge shall pass, you shall be trodden down by it.
Elsewhere, Jesus said that "they" would be eating and drinking and having a good ol' time, when SUDDEN destruction will pay them a visit.

If it seeketh, expects, or demands worship, it is not divine!!
If an entity were not judgmental and if an entity were not controlling then it would have no need to be either just nor "merciful" in the first place now would it!? - Cosmah

Hi Revenger, I'm a firm believer that we are living in the end times, but I do not think that Mark 13:17 and 13:20 refer to the end time that you are talking about.
If you follow the works of Flavius Josephus, he recounts that the destruction of Jerusalem and slaughter of the Jews afterward by the Romans was the worst tribulation that the Jews had ever gone through. In one account, Josephus recorded an event where, because of the destructive siege that the Romans laid around Jerusalem, the famine was so severe that a woman killed her suckling child and cooked him. Then she cut him in two and hid one portion. When the seditious in the city smelled the cooked flesh they broke into her home and threatened to kill her if she did not give away her food. When she revealed what she cooked, they ran out in panic. That covers verse 17.
For verse 20. As far as no flesh being spared unless those days were shortened: Jesus started the conversation by talking about the destruction of the Jewish temple and skipped right to the end times signs, then said, "Before all this, they will lay hands on you and deliver you up to the courts..." and then touches leads into talking about 'the abomination of desolation' and 'fleeing the city for the countryside.' That is what verses 17 and 20 are related to: The destruction of the Jewish nation.
Had Jesus not given the Jewish nation up when he did, all the Jewish people would have been destroyed. That is what he meant by 'all flesh.' Jesus' main point was that, if the Jewish Christians joined the Jewish revolt, then they would have been destroyed too. Fortunately for us, they did not.

In the last decade there have been 4 -5 EQ's so massive that they have actually shorten the day.

I am so tired of mental midgets that quote bible verses and cannot use what their god gave them...a mind to formulate opinions.

The days have shortened. Also number many people having recurring syncronicity . 11 means destruction. 33 means promise. 44 means judgement.

Oh but thinking and knowledge is evil unless it comes from the bible.
That was sarcasm btw.

The Gospel of Mathew showing we are in the kingdom of heaven....
not the "end times", more like an end to tyranny......end of corruption.. end of blasphemy...and a rebirth of the holy spirit in its purest form.
