a lot of stuff doesn't make sense... like how lawyers get half of settlements for a month or couple months work when the amounts in question were the entire life's work of who they represent

or like shows such as Pawn Stars where people take 1/8th of what something is valued at and worth regardless of how expensive the thing is and don't at all care if things are stolen or not... and like any other related show, where people seek to immensely proffit off of others

the entire insurance industry is a scam in my opinion, and I'm not even going to mention how upset I am with high fructose corn syrup, the food industry, and the corn grower associations and the grants the U.S. governments give farmers to put their lands into farm banks so they won't produce food upon them... and then we have the chemical companies and the investment bankers who think the small amount of money they put up should be worth half or more of everything an entrepreneur has done and shall ever do in terms of their business, and the salon owners who make millions while paying their hair cutting employee's under 10% of what the employee brings in while the employee can't even afford to own a car to get to work in, and then we have the pop bottling companies who pay those at their plants (often children who made the mistake of having kids too early in school and who then disappear from their schools) minimum wage while they work non-stop ontop of broken glass while being constantly yelled at for being too slow as the conveyer belt constantly moves while being over packed with bottles that drop off at their end), and the building contractors who do improvments with improvement loan bubble payment financing so that they can hopefully take over someone's house for doing a minor improvement project (ya, I've known people who purposely tried to do just this, and they thought it was funny whenever people lost their homes to them), the list just goes on and on, but hey its all legal and good right? After all, most of us can just buy stock and bankroll and profit off of these types of things and feel good about ourselves without thinking about any of it as long as our stocks tick upwards.

the biggest lie ever demended of americans is the old "thank you for your service to our country". they likely weren't drafted, and they served the interests of profiteers and pirates. and the second great depression only ensures that even more people will be pushed into that decision to serve the demands of the Beast.
