I want to bring an end to these silly number of the beast calculators.
I found him.
It's the pope and it's in plain sight for everyone - written black on white at wikipedia (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicarius_Fi...stant_view). In fact for most of the Christians in here this is probably old news. 
The pope's title is " Vicarius Filii Dei" which means " Representative of the Son of God". When we break it's name down to single letters we get the following. If we change the letters into their numeric counterpart of the roman numerals and add it up we get 666.
V = 5
I = 1
C = 100
A = no counterpart = 0 = " "
R
I = 1
U = 5 (because romans actually wrote "V" instead of "U")
S
F
I = 1
L = 50
I = 1
I = 1
D = 500
E
I = 1

well, i'm an atheist... i don't believe in this stuff but i wanted to bring an end to those silly calculators... i don't know why you assume i am a christian...
and i'm very well aware of the fact that there are endless possibilities to calculate 666... that's why i hope that this thread brings an end to those calculators.

In the Bible it says in Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a "man"; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
What is interesting is that the scripture Revelation 13:18 has a secret code hidden to those that have wisdom. Take the number 13 and 18 and multiply them you get 13x18=234 which adds up to 9. It's reverse mirror number is 432. If you add these 234+432=666. Also if you divide them, 13/18= .72 ads to nine. 72 years is the time it takes for the earth's precession to move 1 degree through the constellations which was very important to the ancients as they understood the meaning of the constellation rising behind the sun. 432 encodes the speed of light and the diameter of the moon because half of 432 is 216 and 432 squared is the speed of light. Also, double 432 and you get 864 which is the diameter of the sun!
So, If you take those two numbers and add them 234+432= 666 which adds up to nine 9 using the digital root method mentioned earlier (6+6+6= 18 and 1+8=9) and are three upside down nines! 432/2 = 216 which adds to 9 and is Plato's number, the smallest cube known to "man" (216 is the smallest magic product of a 3 by 3 multiplicative magic square)! The number 234 also encodes 216 like this... if you add and multiply 234 like this, 2+3+4=9 and 2x3x4=24 and multiply them, that is 9x24=216. 2160 is the diameter of the moon and 432 squared is the speed of light 186,624!

well, not the official title as far as i know... but the pope is the representative of the son of god on this earth according to the catholic church... soooo: it's the pope. and what the catholics have done to humanity makes the pope - as the head of the catholic church - worthy to be the antichrist. all christians are servants of the antichrist.
they act as their religion tells them - so they got their 666 on their right hand which is the hand 90% of us use to do things. they do stuff in the name of the representative of christ or in the name of christ (make themselves to representatives) so they already got their sweet little 666 on their hand.
they believe in their religion/their religion is their driving force of thinking, explaining life, etc - so they also got their 666 on their forehead (which is nothing more than another phrase for "mind" - read the bible if you don't believe me it's written in it!).

The roman church, headed by the Pope is the 2nd beast of Revelation 13. It's the 2nd beast that causes all to receive the mark of the beast.
