I like RP. But exactly this point is ofcourse a bad one to use. Cos this point shows him to be a populist. This point, don't give money to others when your own are suffering, is ofcourse always popular (especially if you day dictators and banks).
But in real life you cannot have freedom if most others are not, you cannot enjoy real wealth if most others don't have it. In a lot of cases you can help yourself best by helping another. Countries who are not developed but taken advantage of can bring trouble, costly trouble too. And it is ofcourse the main reason why we have immigration, it is because other countries have too little.
And money spent on banks is just because the Anglo-American banking system is global, and it was that system that almost crumbled.
If we just take the money spent on foreign aid, and not the bailouts, it is always popular to say we need to stop it, but it is not why lots of people in the US don't have money.

If RP would become President. And the way he would pay of the debt. Would it mean you would have less or more money in your pocket in 4 years? How will it be for a very rich individual and how will it be for a poorer individual, and how will it be for whites and non-whites?

And that brings us back to the monetary system. A debt based system where the US government borrows from a mafioso style cartel at incredible interest rates what it can create on it's own and without interest.

Then there is the constitutionality of foreign aid. No where in the Constitution does it say that Americans have to subsidize dictators and banks in other countries. Quite the contrary, that's a power that congress took upon itself to do despite the will of the people who put them there.

There are dozens if not over a hundred countries on the dole and that money never benefits the people of that country, just the ruling junta and their military. Cut them all off and keep that money in our own pockets instead. That way they can figure things out for themselves and if they don't like their governments then they can do something about it for themselves.

Then there are the bank bailouts for other countries. Who besides the private cartel otherwise known as the Federal Reserve authorized that? Certainly not the congress. It was all done on the sly and only a FOIA lawsuit revealed it. The US taxpayer basically footing the bill for foreign banks screwing up.

And that brings us to the internal US bail outs. Basically it's the US taxpayer paying off the gambling debts of the Federal Reserve's buddies losing poker hands while (pun intended) those losers laugh all the way to the bank.
