So not a single person can say the obvious.

"Ron Paul won't win".

Classic denial.

You guys need to attend an AA meeting.

I'll drink to that, and vote RP as well. After all after he wins I will be celebrating.

I really don't like these communists that keep posting here.

I think I prefer communists to racist morons
who can't even grapple with reality.

So just slinging insults and not taking up the challenge?

Thanks for the bump anyways.

If RP would become President. And the way he would pay of the debt. Would it mean you would have less or more money in your pocket in 4 years? How will it be for a very rich individual and how will it be for a poorer individual, and how will it be for whites and non-whites?

If he doesn't win we are even more screwed than what we are now.

Are you stupid or what?

Could be. I actually don't know. I don't think his Austrian economics or naked capitalism is the exact solution to make poor people richer. I see it can remove a lot of inefficiency, also all those that come from government subsidizing stuff and inadvertently make the price higher. But it also will value some people at one dollar a day or less and do nothing to remedie poverty amongst a lot of people. I don't think my grandparents fought for their social rights for nothing. It is now really thrusting that the market somehow will make everybody rich, and not just the people who now have learned it and are already rich. His 'sound money' thing..... I don't know how to value that. I don't know if it exists. With money it is all about the thrust we have in it.
But the whole banking fraud needs to be addresses, and he seems to say that he will do that. Or at least audit the federal reserve. I don't know what to expect from that and if I will be pleased, but at least he seems to want to do more than what has been done now.
Ending the wars, yeah ofcourse I agree. They cost money and are just murderous to a lot of innocent people. On the other hand they seem to be so the US can control oil and pipelines. Don't know how it will effect us if we would not get the targeted oil. Could be that it is just so neocons can fill their pockets, but it could also be that we need it to survive. I don't condone war for it, but just saying.

Who knows what RP will bring. There is already one huge exaggeration and disinformation going on in Politics, and that is what Obama is supposedly doing and is. The other one could be what RP wants and would be able to do.

Thanks for the thoughtful post.

Whack-a-mole gets boring real fast.

I'm not a fan of the Gold Standard or Austrian Economics(with a caveat: not JUST Austrian economics, it's not sufficient)

If he brings the troops home, that's more jobless people. If he is able to cut government, that's more jobless people.

We need large scale infrastructure projects.

But CONGRESS has to do that, it's not in the president's powers to authorize that.

Smaller government with big USEFUL infrastructure projects is what we need.

I don't think Ron would use the bully pulpit for that.

But he can do so much that decent presidents did. He can revoke a hundred years of nefarious executive orders. He can shitcan the fed. That'll be a fight, but he can appoint ethical people to dept of justice, the SEC, and all other agencies.

A good attorney general can make a world of difference.

And we can survive deregulation. I'm pro-regulation, and what has been deregulated needs to be re-regulated(Glass-Steagall, etc)

But what remain as regulatory agencies AFTER Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama
are corrupt to the core, that's why they kept them. He can fix that, or get rid of them with congress' consent if they give it to him, so will I.

But I want many of them rebuilt from scratch.

Yeah, but I am hinging on giving Obama a second chance. I never believed truely all the over the top attacks at him, like he is communist, the left is the NWO elite, he will bring martial law and become dictator and all that.
I actually like universal healthcare, I think he tried to bring new rules to wallstreet and tried many other things I would agree with. But how the right blocked him and outshouted all his and the democratic policies, with stuff that it is all communism and dictatorship, makes it difficult to measure. It also make me want to see Obama and democrats do their thing without any republicans. I almost all blame them for trying to make him fail, and America suffer, just so they could maybe get the next election (and then they come up with Mitt....joke?).

If I would vote RP, which could be, I would get my helmet on and strap myself in real tight, cos I don't know if it's gonna hurt. But on the other hand I would think, bring it!

P.S. This is what Obama camp says about Obama, what if it is true?

RE: The Put Up or Shut Up Ron Paul challenge.
The biggest problem with Paulaholics
is that they want simple answers

They're not willing to make the hard decisions
or do the hard work.

Which is exactly why we're in the current situation we are.
And Ron Paul is just another simple non-answer
which lets them avoid the hard path.

There have been some stupid attacks against Obama. Like he's a communist or he's a muslim.

A muslim wouldn't be droning muslims.

And a communist wouldn't have the Goldman Sachs team as his team.

But that is a VALID ciriticism.

LOOK AT HIS CABINET and ADVISORS.

He has only BAD INTENTIONS.

That's the difference between a Paultard and an Obamabot.

I don't expect Paul to fix everything. But I can judge CHARACTER.

And track record.

Good post. I'll have to think about it.
You think he has a better chance to enact Glass-Steagall than another senator who wants it? You know Obama tried a compromised version and republicans still shot it down.

But if what you say would come to pass, I would surely vote RP.
