wall The sham called the "War on Terrorism" by a Veteran "UpYoursGovt" aka DJ
There is a REASON why my username in any forum is "Up YOURS Govt" please read what I have to say and you'll see why. I have to let it out!

I was deployed to Camp Fallujah Iraq in the winter of 2004. When my Unit 3/5 (3rd Battalion 5th Marine Division) arrived we were assigned as a re-enforced battalion because of heavy casualties in the North Anbar Province during the hot and deadly years of the war. So there I was, 22 years old, wide eyed, pissed off and scarred shitless...Ready to avenge 911 and fight the "terrorists". I spent two 15 month deployments in that place. 30 months of a life changing experience for any man or woman. My first deployment, I believed what I was doing, and believed in America, and my govt unconditionally.

All in all most of the Iraqi people were decent and not what the media made them out to be. They were not terrorists, they were soldiers. What if China said our govt were hiding weapons of mass destructions and came to bomb our nation, our people, and our land while occupying us as "liberators"? We would take up arms and do the same exact thing.

After months and months of no wmd's found, Saddam being captured already etc...many of us Marines, Soldiers,Sailors, and Airmen knew something just was not right. Like Michael Jackson running a daycare center, it just didn't make any sense...What really started to wake me up was putting my life at risk over the lies, and watching my friends and civilians lose their lives while private contractors like Halliburton, KBR and a Merc outfit known as Blackwater make tons of money off of it. I felt we were just a distraction so those motherfuckers could make money. I still feel that way today.

To say the least, My 2nd "float"/"pump" (Deployment) was harder than my first one because of all the doubt and bitterness that I carried along, while trying to stay alive, and stay effective for my men, and the people above me. Finally November of 2006 came, it was my time to come home and be honorably discharged a month later...

My take on all this is the same as it was when I got home. After all of this and for 6 of these years, THE HARDEST part even harder than fighting some war was coming home to see my country transformed into something different than what it was when I left... A terrible economy, loss of our Constitutional Liberties , A government totally out of touch and out of control, loss of our Country's reputation, and most importantly, loss of our men's lives over what I feel was one big scam.

Here I am nearly 7 years later at the age of 30 and I still feel nothing but regret, doubt, bitterness, and disgust. After losing liberties, the economy, and the feeling of hope and prosperity seeing this country a police state that it has been, assures me that if there was a "war on terrorism" the terrorists won....We who answered our nation's call did not fight for this govt, or for liberty, we fought for ourselves as friends and a family. May all who have died the past 11 years overseas NEVER be forgotten. Semper Fi !!!!!

I was attached to 3/5 and our AO was just outside of the Blackwater Bridge, circa 2006 Cheers

That push into the city proper must've been very hairy. Respect, devil dog.

(I was with Lima, too...)

One of the best posts I've read on this forum in 2 years.

Iraq shattered my faith in the idea of civilian leadership of the military.

Civilian politicians should not have the power to command the military.

U.S. soldiers should have the right to vote to decide which wars are fought, how they are fought, and how they are ended.

The civilian leadership has proven that they are too incompetent to honor the sacrifice of U.S. soldiers.

Respect back to you brother. I was with 3rd Platoon 2nd Squad. Yeah the push in was the most frightening time during my time there.

It's all occult shit in a build-up to a one world government/religious system, in my opinion. I drank the Kool-Aid and washed it down with msm periodicals and MRE short-bread for most, if not all of my enlistment (I clued into to this conspiracy shit just last year). I was floating off the coast of Myanmar for over two months after the hurricane struck with a Marine regiment and three Navy ships in 2008, hoping we could go in and help the victims of that disaster. This was around the time Hillary and Barack were duking it out for the Democratic nom (I was a Hillary supporter Lmao). Anyhow, despite the 'best efforts' of Sen. Jim Webb in his alleged attempt to convince the Myanmar military dictatorship to allow us into their country, we were not allowed to help out. That was a hard reality to wrap my head around, and very discouraging personally.
That was a good job for 8 years, and I had some good experiences in the military, but there's also a ton of bullshit, and I just got tired of it after a while. I imagine other enlisted* feel the same way after a time (particularly if they've been in combat or infantry, and now you have more and more 'awakening' troops to the NWO agenda and false flags, etc., that I'm sure there is a widening division within the ranks currently for the future of America and the world).

*officers, too, I'm sure, but that structure has a different level or type of bullshit, probably

You hit the nail on the head man. I got home in 06 and knew something was just wrong with the way things are in the world. In the summer of 2007 I started researching all manner of crazy shit from 911 to secret societies...etc...My research of course started with 911 because that is what started it all for me in terms of my enlistment. I enlisted Oct 0f 2002 and hit MCRD in early December...the rest was history from there. About us waking up, your exactly right!!

Corpsman huh?? MAD RESPECT TO YOU!!! I would have hated to have that job man. Your fighting along side us, plus patching us up. The United States Navy Corpsman ended my distrust in doctors or surgeons. I never trusted doctors in my life till I arrived in country.

It was a great job in most respects, and it really was an honor (not to kiss ass or anything, it just was). Our training could have been a lot better, or I wish I had been better prepared in both a medical and combat sense for an actual combat deployment (a large part of that responsibility was on me, of course), but you just do the best you can, I think. I have regretted leaving the military a lot since I got out, but I think everything happens as it should ultimately, and it was probably the right decision, all things considered. You guys deserve and deserved the best of the best in medical care, and I know you all didn't always receive it, but I'm glad you seem to have a generally high opinion of corpsman and the Navy M.O.'s. I think most of us (corpsman) tried the best we could at being good at our jobs, just as the Marines tried their best in their roles.

Heartflowers

Prayers to you, OP. In the last year of my Dad's life, I drove him to the VA hospital for his appointments and witnessed so many broken men and women, battered physically and emotionally. Very sad indeed and a real eye opener as to what our govt. has wrought upon the innocent. I have a friend who still suffers from PTSD resulting from his service in the Vietnam war. My stepdad got half his leg blown off in Korea.

Don't know how much time is left but there are 3 young men in my family eligible for the draft.

Thanks for having the courage to write this post, many won't admit even to themselves the deception, but probably can't even bare to deal with the truth.

"May all who have died the past 11 years overseas NEVER be forgotten. Semper Fi !!!!!"

and May all who were killed, never be forgotten either. Those Iraqi's were innocent civilians.
