I love my strat and have had it for years. I had the middle pickup reverse wound to reduce hum. It sounds really sweet when cranked. Preferably on a large stage so I can feel it. I play through a Line 6 Flextone II with the footboard. I used to play through a Marshall Lead 100 with 2 4x10 cabs with rack effects and expression pedals. After years of gigs, my back was complaining more and more about all the trips to the van to move my gear.

Nice move on the Strat I'll have t give that whirl....

We think alike I gave up Marshall Stacks and the likes ( Long ago I also had a Music Man HD130 Stack-remember those?) I've had 3 back surgeries for other issues I now use a Korg multi-effects processor and a Roland JC120 Jazz Chorus. Hell as I am sure you know the samples they use now are 24bit and sound great ( digital amp simulation) so this is the way to go......

Don't play much anymore dammit.....need to change that..... no time.....

I had a Korg A3. It was pretty good with reverb and delay. Distortion, not so much. Stupid me sold my Ibanez Tube screamer. I haven't seen any Music Man amps up this way.

I still play quite a bit but don't gig much anymore. I stopped playing with my old bands because they could never focus well enough to accomplish much. Frustrating as hell that was. I'm in the process of putting another band together. This time around, it is going to be a lot more fun.

Get yourself into the habit of playing regularly, it's good for the brain and the heart.

How, exactly? She doesn't have slits instead of irises, her eyes are white and not yellowish, I see no scales on her skin... If you're talking about that whole "reptilian alien" conspiracy, show proof of such claims or GTFO.
