Think we're going to get out of this slump before full blown "depression?" Well, here's the news for you. We're in a god damned "grown men jumping off of buildings" depression.

I'll spare you the "professional analysis" and give it to you straight. Yes, it's anecdotal evidence, but it's the truth. My husband, one of those lucky to still have a job, just got the call, and is racing back from MO to TN to be a pallbearer for his best friend who shot himself this morning.

Some of you may remember 14WORDS from TOP, but he's gone now. This is the second suicide that my husband carried the casket in the last year or so. So while Wall Street types are still taking their bonuses, the out of work rednecks are taking themselves out.

Me and that guy became good friends at TOP....I miss him, he was a riot....

Unfortunately, I won't be going to the service because of the tension between me and my husband (who is a pallbearer). It just sucks all around. I don't know what to say to his kids, let alone his widow, other than "I'm so sorry".

But it's no coincience, the second friend in the last few months, on the verge of losing everything...deciding he was worth more dead than alive. What are they doing to us? At this rate, they won't even have to kill us. How convenient that we'll do it for them.

Yeah, Mike. It wasn't his personal beliefs that drove him to this. The other friend had plenty of black people he workedd with and around.

This is about Depression and despair. No hope of things getting better. I knew this man well, and loved him. And even I didn't see this coming.
