Ha,ha you know there are so many interesting drinks out there that are incredibly high powered in a healthy way.
One could open a health drink pub for the whole families enjoyment.
Ever tried wheat grass juice, its got a kick just like Scotch, and leaves you with a hot glow for several hours, or pure pomegranate juice is so divine you sip it to savor the delight, pure grape juice beats a vintage vino anyday.
Young children know how to enjoy themselves without getting plastered, many adults could learn a thing or two from them, if you need a glass of booze in hand to have a good time, well ask yourself WTF am i doing, lol.

GD your comment about all these missing people being Israeli hiding from their country was very interesting. Do we really have a lot of Israeli overstayers here?

We have all sorts of over-stayers in NZ, lots of nationalities and people wanting to hideaway.

Some are not so smart and others slip beneath the radar becoming an established character in a small town, known to everyone and thereby above suspicion given time.

I suspect we have a few different agencies looking for people here in NZ, we have over 500,000 tourists in any given year so not so hard to disappear between the numbers.
Slipping into the country without passports is not impossible either.

I used to live at one end of the Heaphy track and you see every different sort of tramper tourist pass through.

Have cash, hang around, find a part time job play it from there, many people in small places will pay under the table...........eventually if you are keen and helpful you are part of the landscape and it seems like you have always been there.

I would say we have more over-stayers than the gov knows about.

Didn't work out for Juan from the Blue Zephyr. He became one of those characters. We all thought he was just a nice guy that cooks good food, then one night on TV he was being detained and deported back to Chile.
I was talking to one of his work mates a few days later and he said he hadn't turned up for work. He didn't see the program. They didn't even notify anyone, just nabbed him. No wonder we have missing people, or were they deported over stayers.

That happened to a Welsh mate of ours when we all lived in Sydney. He was a flatmate too. One day there - then gone. We were worried sick about him till he rang from Wales to tell us what happened. Turned out some shitty work colleague dobbed him in. Sadly, we haven't seen him since. He couldn't come back and none of us has made it to Wales.
