Well back when I was a kid Bambi sure made people look like Godzilla just for hunting deer legally. One of the girls down the street was named Bambi. Children then hear the hints in school about how guns are bad, and there is a few who where traumatized over this. Get as many against guns (despite rifles are used for hunting). Into there adulthood they still are out in force.

Now if they could get away with taking hunting away, or ban rifles, whatever, you bet they will love arresting you for shooting a rodent with a pellet rifle to eat.
