I used to write "Industrial Metal" for the video gaming industry. Yo don't have to be a star to make money doing what you love. You just have to be creative about it.

I get it I really do but there are times that money men are woefully wrong and I have the overwhelming need to tell them. This either gets me fired or is the birth of a newly found mutual respect.

I am by no means rich. LOL I'm just trying to survive and pay rent and child support. If I am successful, I will need help. That's where the job creation bit comes in to play.

Greeting cards? Company slogans? .... If you are a poet, you are also a musician in hiding. Buy a keyboard and get crackin'. You will be surprised what little musical talent can create a huge sensation. Just look at any Rap band.

i didnt like it much but i was good at it..
and i have a keyboard lol..
i also have an electric and acoustic guitar..
can i play any of them..? no lol

So, if you have the instruments.... There are people out there who have no instruments and would love to play in your band. You are principal intrest in a business sense but you can direct how your music should be produced and you provide the lyrics and sing them.

OR, you could form a band and market them yourself as a gigging band. You take your cut, they perform and take thier cut. Your job is to find them gigs and market them.
