LoP Guest Wrote:I have a small fish pond off my patio. I have lost half my fish over the past week. They stop eating and there are no diseases or parasites visible on the bodies. My pond is partly shaded and has a waterfall that keeps it well aerated. It has been years since I lost a single fish except to herons.
My husband who is not interested in conspiracy news or prone to crazy assumptions is insisting they are spraying something in the air. I don't think he has ever heard of chemtrails that I know of. he has been scooping up dead fish and also dead birds in a very unusual rate this past week. Our grass and landscape is mostly dead due to the third summer of drought and so no lawn chemicals have been used anywhere around our property. I am in the Midwest and puzzled by my own little fish kill.
Yeah, this sounds really odd if true...

Seriously though, the fish kills could be due to drops in Oxygen levels. This could occur as the result of warmer water temperatures and the metabolism of oxygen by fish also increases as a result of this making it a double whammy.

Kind of like this incident:

Whenever they say they've ran tests to determine whats causing the fish kill, they determined that it was not due to oil and dispersants.
As a rule of thumb, never trust the people in charge, at the helm making all the money, or the government they run. I seriously doubt that corporate heads and their legal guidance would ever allow the truth to get out if it meant disaster for them.

" The Doomshape, called the Destroyer, in Egypt, was seen in all the lands whereabouts. In colour it was bright and fiery, in appearence changing and unstable. It twisted about itself like a coil, like water bubbling into a pool from an underground supply, and all men agree it was a most fearsome sight. It was not a great comet or a loosened star, being more like a fiery body of flame.
Its movements on high were slow, below it swirled in the manner of smoke and it remained close to the sun whose face it hit. There was a bloody redness about it, which changed as it passed along its course.
It caused death and destruction in its rising and setting. It swept the Earth with grey cinder rain and caused many plagues, hunger and other evils. It bit the skin of men and beast until they became mottled with sores.
The Earth was troubled and shook, the hills and mountains moved and rocked. The dark smoke-filled Heavens bowed over Earth and a great howl came to the ears of men, borne to them upon the wings of the wind. It was the cry of the Dark Lord, the Master of Dread. Thick clouds of fiery smoke passed before him and there was an awful hail of hot stones and coals of fire. The doomshape thundered sharply in the Heavens and shot out bright lightings. The channels of water were turned back unto themselves when the land tilted, and great trees were tossed about and snapped like twigs. Then a voice like ten thousand trumpets was heard over the wilderness, and before its burning breath the flames parted. The whole of the land moved and mountains melted. The sky itself roared like ten thousand lions in agony, and bright arrows of blood sped back and forth across its face. Earth swelled up like bread upon a hearth.
This was the aspect of the Doomshape called the Destroyer, when it appeared in days long gone by, in olden times. It is thus described in the old records, few of which remain. It is said that when it appears in the Heavens above, Earth splits open from the heat, like a nut roasted before the fire. The flames shoot up through the surface and leap about like fiery fiends upon black blood. The moisture inside the land is all dried up, the pastures and cultivated places are consumed in flames and they and all trees become white ashes.
The Doomshape is like a circling ball of flame which scatters small fiery offspring in its train. It covers about a fifth of the sky and sends writing snakelike fingers down to Earth. Before it the sky appears frightened, and it breaks up and scatters away. Midday is no brighter than night. It spawns a host of terrible things. These are things said of the Destroyer in the old records, read them with a solemn heart, knowing that the Doomshape has its appointed time and will return. It would be foolish to let them go unheeded. Now men say, "Such things are not destined for our days." May the Great God above grant this be so. But come, the day surely will, and in accordance with his nature man will be unprepared."

Fishes means more than one specie of fish.
Thanks!
You know what, I didn´t know that but looked it up and your right.
Using the plural form fish could imply many individual fish(es) of the same species while fishes could imply many individual fish(es) of differing species.
I owe you a beer
I didn't know that either.
Thanks, Brewha.

Sure, amazingly dubious: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Kolbrin
lol, i love the wikipedia sources.
Firstly, I highly doubt you have read any of it?
I got a hard copy, the one with the Celtic Cross, from a book store in New Zealand back in 2002ish, back then if you googled The Kolbrin barely a thing came up.
Aside from the texts that talk about the destroyer or whatnot, it is mostly a collection of 'wise' words.
Even if it is a complete work of fiction, it's the message that matters anyhow. I have read it, and studied it, long before you knew it existed. So many passages in the book, and I consider myself to be an intelligent and logical man, almost defy a current fraudulent explanation. Simply because, it is so powerfully written. It's like...taking all the Einstein's, Gandhi's, and Gandalf's. It's poetic, and incredibly deep.
So, I would suggest reading through it? The parts that contain references to the Destroyer and whatnot are such a small portion, totalling 4-5 pages out of 300-ish.
In short, if you have not tasted lobster before, you have no right to say it tastes bad.
EDIT: And btw, you always seem to post things relating to conventional science - which leads me to believe you, yourself have hardly any background in scientific theory, epistemological conceptions - or any foundation to understand why you think what you do, why scientists think what they do.
Rationality is defined as the use of reason, innate within all humans. The power to deduct, understand, define and arrange the objective reality into logical groups of thoughts and arguments. Science itself holds the idea of rationality as being a key, underlying component to the production and reproduction of the scientific method, and scientists themselves unconsciously assume their rationality and logic are superior to non-scientists or persons who reside outside their realm of speciality.
If rationality is a God given right, innate within all humans across all cultures throughout time and space, then how can other modes of thought be considered illegitimate, how can world-views within our own history seem ridiculous compared to current thought, why is science, who is composed of aggregates of individuals spread across a spectrum of disciplines and sub-disciplines, unable to reconcile or take interest in alternative explanations to what is considered it's most basic, important and fundamental principles?
I would suggest, as you are clearly a man who is interested in Science, to spend some time reading into the philosophy of science.
It is not so cut and dry, as you seem to make it.

I've actually read the Kolbrin. Can you point me in the direction of an
actual ancient copy? Something printed prior to the 1990s? I seriously
doubt you can.
As for philosophy when it comes to science I can appreciate this quote:
"Philosophy of science is about as useful to scientists as ornithology is to birds."
--Richard Feynman, physicist.
How is philosophy required when it comes to the heuristic principles
that serve as rules of thumb for guiding the work? Sure, it comes into
play when we look at applications of that work, but parsimony would tend
to delay any consideration in most cases. Philosophy has it's place, but
it can also be a hindrance when it comes to simple applications of
science.
