heart Time to smell the coffee - things are going to get much worse . . UPDATE pg.23 - 5/13
Okay, I've been entertaining this idea for the last year. I have decided that the place to go (expatriate from the USA) is URUGUAY.

That's right, URUGUAY. NOT Ecuador, not Costa Rica, but URUGUAY. I know many say CHILE is better. But there are too many earthquakes and volcanoes there.

URUGUAY does not get earthquakes or volcanoes. It's in the Southern Hemisphere, and it's on the opposite ocean from FUCKyouShima.

It has a lovely climate, and it's still somewhat affordable. It's about the size of Washington State. The government is a Constitutional Democracy.

It's the easiest to expatriate to in S. America. It's rated the highest in personal liberty in S. America.

So who is interested in discussing YOU and YOUR FAMILY moving to Uruguay in the next six months or sooner? What I would prefer to do is to get some people together to purchase some land, in order to farm and live on it. If you have skills that can translate to the Uruguayan economy, that would be a plus, but the main thing is to get there and get away from the radiation and police state that is bombarding us here.

what say you? (chuckle)

I can't wait around much longer. If I have to sell everything and just go there, I am sure I can make it work for myself and my daughter, but I would prefer to find some like-minded people to invest in property, and come on down, when the shit starts hitting the fan or sooner. I can do a lot, but I would like some help, and good company. My family is lame, with heads up asses. I'm crazy for worrying that my beautiful twelve year old daughter will have no future here, if she can even live to grow up...sick of talking to them about it. My dad is somewhat aware, but older, and his normalcy bias won't allow him to consider doing something smart like getting the hell out of here while the getting's still good...

Anyone interested?

I am still interested in the USA, I would want to have dual citizenship, as long as they get the radiation thing under control (they haven't yet, and it looks not too good at the moment - one minute too late and it won't matter) and once Ron Paul takes office, I will be less worried about Martial Law, etc...but Ron Paul is not UltraMan and he can't make Fukushima go away, so anyhow...hope to hear from you - bump it and send me a PM if you are interested.

I will bump anything for a worthy dream... I've been dreaming myself, lately...

Bump

And I can actually drink instant coffee... if it's absolutely necessary...

What you need is to buy a good geiger counter and go out and make some measurements yourself, you rely far too much on hearsay and fear mongering.

I don't have to re-invent the wheel every time I go to the grocery store, and I have seen enough other people's reports to know that we're getting it here. Once it's strong enough radiation to measure up on my own personal geiger counter, it's far too late, we've been exposed already. Also, it's not the current levels (which I hear are bad) that I'm most concerned about - it's what will happen when/if the SFPs go off or the full on meltdown happens. Once that happens, it's too late to do much.

Also, I am displeased with the way things are going politically and economically here in the US..

I'm not the only one. Far richer and smarter people are leaving in droves.
