Three coastguard boats and a helicopter are searching here for a missing person in a lake.

If you have a traffic accident, the ambulances will be there in no time.

The first sorrow of firefighters is to get people out of it before fighting the fire.

In the beginning there was nothing...and even that exploded..

Think population reduction. Harm reduction resource management and you will be closer to that truth.

If you have something they want, they are far more likely to want to rob you of it first from carefully developed memes. Societal norms are relied upon for the wealth transfer, taxes, debt, consumerist mentalities, etc. Those methods are far more effective for the wealth transfer as they rely on behavior or societal norms so people voluntarily participate.

Once all of the available wealth has been transferred I think that is when we all have to start worrying, the most likely manifestation will be a global war as the elite can then leverage upon future generations following the catastrophe. That is once everything material has been taken only future commitments of labor can be leveraged.

The wildcard is the future value of what is being transferred now. As this paper game has evolved over 300 years the premise is wealth stolen now will have some kind of value for the elite in the future. But the flip side is that current value has no real future value as the "value" being printed now is being quarantined on bank's balance sheets, so its real effect on existing wealth is being deferred.

They dont want to get rid of the educated and productive city dwellers, they mainly want the 3rd world population reduced.

There will always be a need for Doctors, engineers and scientists, but people that are deemed to be worth nothing more than for remedial labor purposes can be replaced with machines and computers and do nothing other than waste food and resources (worthless eaters).

That is not my opinion, but that is the way the elite puppet masters see it. They view humans as the worst destroyers of the planet, and too many of us are causing too much pollution and using too many resources.

I don't buy that. I witnessed the gradual loss of value in my former skills (engineering) as automation and standards slowly replace professional judgement. Specialization of degrees earned in college also serve to dilute an individuals value, and cheapening the standards to get a degree also serve to dilute any individual's value.

In fact I think the only real valuable labor will be humans that can maintain the growing machine. As more and more marginal artificial intelligence comes on line, iterative design relying on computational power of computers replaces the value of human designers and engineers.

Eventually, they will want to force the direction of technology into a pre-determine pattern that fits their desires for dominion. From that point on AI can efficiently replace human ingenuity since the end goal has been determined and programmed into the machine, further advances progress the borg to that end game or increase efficiency of the machines already in use.

The last "little" garage fire in our town(And I do mean little and non-threatening) brought, 3 hook and ladder trucks(wtf?), four tankers from neighboring villages,a host of grassfire trucks, 6 ambulances, the local cops, and the sheriff deputies...

The last criminal break in to a local fast food restaurant brought the local cops in cruisers, horseback, bicycles and amazingly enough- two militarized tank type vehicles filled with SWAT type officers that most of us didn't even know the police dept had.

It seems like over-reaction and overkill are quite profitable for the local "emergency services". They have to justify their existence on paper- the large expenses for their military equipment, so I guess a response to an innocuous garage fire that posed no major threats counts on their ledgers.

Those f**kers are rapidly becoming a joke, as well as a real threat to our peaceful existence.

.

Edit/addition: This is the true definition of singularity. Once the end game for control has been identified, the course plotted, then the control grid can be implemented. For now, they allow the diversity of technological advancement since they may be missing some critical part of the machine.

Human creativity must be allowed for now, to compensate for some short sightedness on their part. But singularity will be the watershed event which the elite choose to finalize their takeover of humanity. Allowing for further technological advancement in other areas will threaten the possible course chosen by collective result of individual choice.

Singularity = Final stages of pre-determined scientific thought and advancement. From that point on human ingenuity becomes a liability to the machine.

not this^^

I'd not ring the police, you'll end up on a charge, or shot. The police protect the goverment, not the people.
