Fluoride compounds work as a topical, or apply-to-the-area, as opposed to something you swallow and is carried by the blood stream to the afflicted area. If you want healthier bones and teeth, you would take a clacium supplement internally, not rub it on your teeth.

It's similar to the "colloidal silver" thing. A lot of folks believe (incorrectly) that a silver compound such as colloidal silver taken internally is of therapeutic value, possibly because it used to be used as a topical before the development of antibiotics like penicillin, streptomycin, and sulfadiazine.

The point is, topical medicines do not necessarily work if taken internally, and vice-versa.

Please tell us then why it's in our water?

Tell us EXACTLY what a safe dose is, how much is hidden in food,
how much is absorbed by bathing and swimming, and tell us more
imortantly if there are vulnerable populations for whom it is
certainly contra-indicated.

If you have time, tell us how this medication is not subject to
informed consent of patients and whether or not it is BIOCUMULATIVE?

Any fluoride advocates wish to defend the fact
that 999.9% of this substance goes down the drain
and yet is still called an "efficient" program?

The only way this could be called "efficient" is if it
were some sort of pollutant and we were being conned
into purchasing it, transporting it around the nation, and
then diluting it into the water waste-stream for the manufacturer.
