Nope, here in blighty parking wardens are one of the most hated professions alongside the police and drug dealers, believe me very few people are going to lose sleep over this.

You seen to have a issue in assuming that these wardens have ANY authority, they don't. They are just basically hired goons for a privatised company that has no legal rights in issuing these fines.

Parking regulations cannot be enforced by anyone outside of the regulatory commission. Read the UK law and it says so in simple words.
