The normally-reserved Yves Smith asks whether Obama should be impeached over it.

Democratic Senator Wyden – the head of the committee which is supposed to oversee it – is so furious about the lack of access that he has introduced legislation to force disclosure.

Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa is so upset by it that he has leaked a document on his website to show what’s going on.

What is everyone so furious about?

An international treaty being negotiated in secret which would not only crack down on Internet privacy much more than SOPA or ACTA, but would actually destroy the sovereignty of the U.S. and all other signatories.

It is called the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Wyden is the chairman of the trade committee in the Senate … the committee which is supposed to have jurisdiction over the TPP. Wyden is also on the Senate Intelligence Committee, and so he and his staff have high security clearances and are normally able to look at classified documents.

And yet Wyden and his staff have been denied access to the TPP’s text.

Someone should school Mr. Obama on the various functions of the legislative, juducial and executive branches, and the inherent checks and balances built into the system to prevent this type of behavior.

Interesting section of Issa's wiki page:

"The family moved to the predominantly Jewish suburb of Cleveland Heights in the later years of his childhood. Many of his friends were Jewish, and Issa reportedly worked for a rabbi at one point. He became very familiar with Jewish culture.[5]"

Weird statements for no apparent reason.

I agree that obama (and bush jr) should be schooled -- actually prosecuted and tried -- then we should carry out the lawful sentence:

it is not obama but neocons.American politics have always been controlled or guided by republicans.The defeats suffered by repubs during 1960s when kennedy and lyndon jackson changed whole social and political spectrum of USA beyond change,have forced them to turn into extreme right.
The neo con ideology always existed in america and every president used it to his benefit.. Theodore Roosevelt.. Woodrow wilson...FDR..Lyndon jackson...Nixon...Regan..etc
Now it is coming out in open...everything is done for "security of country"...let us see.
I am waiting for a dictator but obama aint him.A white guy will be dictator of world in next 10-20 years.
