Try this 9/11 experiment.
Aircraft are nothing more than lightweight, hollow tubes, kind of like an empty coke can. Try to throw an empty coke can through a steel reinforced brick wall and let me know how that works out for you.

Or a full coke can.

Or a hairspray can.

Or another brick.

Or a brick with a firecracker tied to it.

Or anything a fraction of the size of the building itself.

Let me know if your brick wall collapses into a perfectly tiny pile of smoldering rubble.

To scale, the aircraft weight is negligible. Much like a mosquito trying to fly through your arm.

Max payload including people of a 747 is 735,000 pounds.

No doubt about that.
Something that looks EXACTLY like a controlled demo though?

RE: Try this 9/11 experiment.
Why doesn't someone recreate the event? Have an actual 747 fly into a skyscraper and see what happens?

A remote-controlled empty plane and an empty skyscraper scheduled for demolition, of course.

Get your facts straight. Both planes were 767s and their max takeoff weight is ~410K pounds. In scale, negligible to both tower structures except glass.
