New reports indicate that a Turkish F16 Jet has been shot down near Turkish border. Two Jets reportedly entered Syrian Airspace, one was shot down by Syrian air defence and another one managed to flee

The origin of the Jets have been identified as Turkish, and the pilots have been arrested according to new Tweets from Syrian_Media.

There still seems to be mass confusion.
(It is unknow which of the following actually happened)

1) one report, 2 f-16's (turkish) shot down in syria

2) one F-16 shot down, the other escapes

3) 3 f-16 entered syria and 2 shot down

4) 1 f-4 entered and was shot down and 2 men captured by syria.

Clearly, the big issue wil be exactly where the plane(s) were when they were shot down.

If over sea/turkey, NATO must respond.

If over syria.....depends....
