It frit me gobsmacked once to hear Alistair Cooke on his Letter from America talking about the coming United States of Europe and the implications for the UK's special relationship with the US.

THAT WAS IN 1972.

Then 25 yrs ago I was in a European Commission Directorate office for a meeting. There was a huge map on the wall with the whole of Europe and Russia (yes Russia) mapped out as smallish NUMBERED REGIONS - all country boundaries and nation names eradicated. (E.g. England is not England anymore, it is 9 regions).

These regions are known as 'NUTS' - Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics. Does this tell you anything about the EU attitude to we little people?

Total European domination by fair means or foul was always the plan of those behind the 'European Project'.
