Sorry but that is an HOUR and a HALF video, at what point in the video is the point made of how to edit a video to make it inflammatory?

It a commemoration of MLK's (plagiarized) speeches. MLK was a fantastic orator, he had charisma and could enthrall a crowd. BUT, this video starts out with a young girl pushing for Affirmative Action where people are hired BASED on the color of their skin and then the older women states that MLK's dream was not to be judged BASED on the color of his skin, rather the content of his character.

I've done a lot of research on MLK as I was born two hours before he was shot. I am not putting him down when I say plagiarized, you can easily find that information. The ideas that MLK was able to make public and get attention would otherwise not have reached the millions that it did if someone other than MLK tried. It was MLK's charismatic personality that helped draw attention to a great cause.


Also, I truly want to know why the "n" is so offensive if white people say it when black people say it all the time to each other? Doesn't that appear ludicrous? There are many racial "slurs" for everyone but for some reason white people are forbidden from saying the same words that the other races call themselves.

Wow, I'm convinced at this point you're either a white nationalist/closet racist. Why hided it? Nobody knows who you are in real life. Just come out and say it...stop pretending to be a sweet-old women. I've been reading your post over the past couple of days because I started to suspect you were a bigot due to some of the things you've been posting on here. I also notice that you like to use a confirmation bias to support your negative views about minorities. It seems like you don't want to give minorities credit for anything...you' always seem to concentrate on the negative. It also seems like you're completely disconnected from anyone, who is not white.

The reason why none-whites don't like you using certain words (racial slurs) is because most of them were created by whites (you know...the n-word, chink, slander wetback etc). Now about the n-word, blacks started using a variation of the n-word with a (ga) at the end instead of (ger) to desensitize the word. In other words, blacks took the sting out of the word so it wouldn't hurt them as much as it hurt blacks during the previous generations. About affirmative action. Affirmative action was created so blacks could get a job in this country. If you don't know, whites refused to hire minorities due to obvious reasons. If affirmative action had never bee created...that shit would still be going on today.You just showed us how ignorant you truly are with this post. I don't give a **** about how many positive rating you have on here because I have the ability to see write through peoples fake personas. People always give themselves away eventually, especially on the internet.

It's a shame...I actually liked you. I was actually gonna give you a positive rating at one point until I saw your most recent post.

No matter what I say, I can't change your mind what you think.

Am I racist or a bigot? No.

Do I really detest people playing victim constantly and not taking personal responsibility for their actions? Yes and for that it comes in all colors.

Do I know about the history of Affirmative Action? Yes. I'm glad that it was passed because I don't think ANYONE should be denied a job based on the color of their skin. Have I experienced the negative side effects of Affirmative Action? Yes. I've also read where standards are lowered so that more minorities and WOMEN can get the job. THAT is not fair. If there is a standard testing to qualify for a job, it should be COLOR and GENDER blind.

I'm sorry that you can't understand my view point; I have experienced a handicapped black man laugh in my face after he was caught not doing his job. He said that the whole place would close before they would EVER fire him because he was handicapped and because he was black. THAT pisses me off. So is that what makes me a racist? That I despise when people use Affirmative Action in that way to protect them when they should be fired? That the ONLY reason they don't get fired is because of their skin color? You agree with that? You think that's fair?

Do you truly understand what MLK was trying to convey? The whole statement of judging someone by the content of their CHARACTER not the color of their skin?

That guy that I worked with twisted a very good law to suit his unsavory character and what's worse is he laughed about it knowing that nothing could be done.

BTW, I don't believe in lying, I don't have a fake persona. I will be 44 years old very shortly, I was raised as middle-middle class Irish Catholic, I married an Irish Catholic guy who was raised the same way with the same morals and values. My parents instilled a good work ethic, that you take responsibility for your actions, help others when you can, try to be as kind as possible to all you meet, respect others and leave things better than you found them. They also taught us to stand up for our beliefs but to try to do so in a respectful manner, they said "don't tell all you know to everyone you know and discretion is the better part of valor."

I also have a minor in psychology/sociology and my major was in economics. Because of my interest in psychology I like to explore the reasons why people think the way they do. So, yes, I was interested in truly knowing why certain groups are prohibited by societal norms from using words that other groups use internally.

Off to bake chocolate chip cookies with our two sons who we are raising to respect others but also to stand up for their beliefs so that others don't take advantage of them. We are teaching them that it is far better to work to earn things than to be given things. We are teaching them manners. Have a good day.
