horn Video games are to the 21st century what LSD was to the 1960's.
Distractions and time wasters to keep the youth of the world to getting pissed off at how bleak their future really is.

Youth are the only ones that have so little to lose that they can protest in great enough numbers to make a difference in the world. Adults with families and jobs can't take days and weeks off to do protests and sit-ins, they can't run off to the Peace Corps to try to change the world, they can't risk being arrested and missing work, thereby missing a paycheck or getting fired and losing everything.

Youth can change the world, and TPTB know it. That's why you are inundated with banal, unproductive, mind-numbing distractions to keep you occupied, until adulthood when they can finally get you properly enslaved to the system with shackles in the form of a mortgage or rent, credit card debt, health, auto, home & life insurance bills, a spousea and kids, all relying on a job that could end tomorrow on somebody's whim. By design, adults are out of the world changing game, because they have to provide for their families for the rest of their lives.

It's ALL up to youth, and they're collectively trying to beat the wrong game. They should pretend that our country's future is a big game and if they don't master the game, they will lose all of their achievements and lives, because they really will, eventually.

Good luck, youth. Hope you can see past the distractions before it's too late.

post of the day

I was just thinking that about the PSN thread. It had 2 pages in no time, and serious shit might get a few responses in an entire day before it dies. f*cked up priorities. I guess LOP could fall into the category of distraction as well.

Have you ever done acid? The CIA only thought it was a mind control agent. Once they realized it opened peoples minds it became not only illegal but the boogeyman of drugs over night.

It was the acid heads in the 60'd who said "Hell freakin no" to going to Vietnam to fight and kill for US corporate profits. These days it is the idiots who use video games who think war is just like those idiot games.

Sorta OP. But with one your on your own trip, and with the other your on someone else's trip.

Not sure that gamez lead to the same questioning of reality that acid does tho. If it did, we would have armies of gamerz all WTF in da streetz.

But then again gamez don't make u spend 3 full wastd days desperately stitching back the pieces of your lost sanity after a bad strange trip.

nature > chemical

shroooommmmzzzzz > acid

60's > 50's

You act like you did not do acid..

LSD opened your eyes that everything in the world was alive, it had its own vibratory field. It was good and cleansing.

Video games give the illusion that life is in that little box, it is very unreality based.

Your thread title said one was like the other but forgive me, you only ragged on video games, what say you about the LSD?

well, then we should start our own lop game company and educate the youth with our games... beat the elite at their own game - that's the only non violent way. Hugs

i think we all know now that you're some kind of drug addict. could you please stop asking everyone "have you ever done acid?" because most sane people would stay away from this shit and other drugs. in fact some children or teenager could read your post and start thinking "hey, maybe i should start doing drugs! - i'll take some acid, yay!". then they would be double f***ed: they would do drugs and play video games...

if taking acid is the only way to open your mind you're pretty f***ed... just saying...

Ive seen the entire evolution of video gaming and to be honest it has gotten to real.

Diablo III

Grind through 4 levels of difficulty, 4 acts in each.

End game is farming the hardest difficulty to find good gear to make it easier to farm good gear to sell said good gear for real $ on the real money auction house.
