Good read. This guy stopped a coup d'etat. One of the most decorated soldiers in US history telling it like it is. It is a short read. Worth the time!

This timeless piece is definitely worth the time to read for anyone who has never read it.

Great post, Gibbie!

Though i know about him thanks to internet reads, will have to check out the additional link and the videos, Major General Smedley Butler should be taught in schools, but i don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon eh?

This is more likely to happen first:

If I ran a private school I would definitely have his commentary in history class. I would also have personal finance rigorously taught every year from grade 6 till 12th grade. Everyone should also know what the federal reserve is and how the monetary system really works.

The truth is Smedley Butler helped Quash a group of Patriots that were trying to Stop A Coup by the Military Industrial Complex and the Federal Reserve Bankers. If you take the time to closely examine what really happened and look at WHO took over the Government and the Military (note Commissioning of Officers used to be done by Governors and the president could appoint Officers to Positions, now the federal Govt does it which is in fact Un Constitutional. Military officer [scum] are now actually feds attached to the Military and not really part of the Military, just attached to it, that's why so many failed officer trash goes straight into secret service etc plus they get their days taking it from both times at their drunken cocaine infused frat parties toward retirement so if they spend 4-6 years snorting coke and partying at gay bath houses in college that counts so they can retire with 16 years all for doing shit like Bombing Libya in full and clear violation of the Constitution)

yeah, I know people don;t see the direct correlation between this and Alex Jones but he has stated many times he's a direct descendent of Christopher Jones who was a Ship Owner and East India Company Proprietor. Then consider his Family were of the group that were Founders in Texas (that group received Anglo Land Grants and not just any body could get those, you had to be of Nobel Lineage and be filthy rich etc) Plus they ignore the fact that his Family is the ones that TV Show Dallas was based on plus the fact they were the Texas Oil Jones Family back in the Texas Oil Boom... I could go on and on and on.

I came across the entire trial once in the American Farmer's Almanac, it showed that the New York Times was ran by the government way back then. It also show cased what a traitor Grampa Bush was and Smedley Butler was a great man.

He said Al Capone had nothing on him, Capone ran three cities, Butler ran three continents. Even back then, USA was rigging elections in other countries.

They didn't try Bush because they knew his name would live in infamy. Little did they know, American's are not taught this history, and a generation later, this traitor's son and grandson would be president. They should have tried him for treason and hanged him, and we wouldn't be in this mess.

Then why didn't they try Kennedy? Oh, that's right you didn't know he was higher up in it than Bush who was just hired help because all that gets "conveniently" left out.

Open your f*cking eyes people, this shit is all a cover for the real coup that took place.

Major General Smedley Butler is wrong. War is a consequence for forgetting that Christ is God your maker. A damned spirit working for lucifer (the devil) revealed this in an exorcism.
