We aren't in Kansas anymore. A defacto coup has taken place?
The Data Analytics paper details how the SEC, headed by Mary Schaprio, Bank of America, headed by Brian Moynihan, Judge Jed Rakoff, US District Court, Southern District of New York, and Ruby Krajick, Clerk of the Court colluded in fraud on the People in the litigation of Securities and Exchange Commission v Bank of America Corporation to exonerate banking executives, who unlawfully took USD 5.8 billion. The paper focuses on the features of the electronic record systems of the US courts, PACER and CM/ECF, which enable such fraud in the US courts from coast to coast. The paper claims that the large-scale fraud in the US courts amounts to unannounced regime change in the United States.

The article is difficult to read, but ...... puts forth mind-blowing info. For example:
Under such circumstances, the Data Analytics paper inspects the information systems, implemented by the US courts, and their implications in the litigation of a landmark case under the current financial crisis, Securities and Exchange Commission v Bank of America Corporation (1:09-cv-06829).
In this case, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) purportedly prosecuted Bank of America Corporation in the US District Court, Southern District of New York, for violations of securities laws, related to the unlawful taking by executives of $5.8 billion. Financial analysts described the underlying matter as a "criminal conspiracy' and "bigger than Watergate?'. Eventually, the outcome of the litigation was that pursuant to the final Settlement Agreement, compensation in the sum of $150 million was paid by the shareholders to themselves. No funds were returned by any of the perpetrators, and none of the perpetrators was held accountable for their unlawful conduct.
Forget Kansas, we may not even be on the same planet anymore.

No, at least not in this story.
This story is concerned with gargantuan, unprosecuted fraud on Wall Street and in the government. Massive fraud to the point that our government is no longer functioning on *any* level.

If further research could be done I bet you would find out that the judge presiding in the matter probably received donations from the bank in question which is why no one went to jail or will be going to jail.
If a regular person such as you or I were to perpetrate such a fraud, we'd be doing 20+ years. It makes me sick that all these corporations get away with basically starving people while they do not time and none of the (probably fake anyway) money is ever accounted for. It makes no sense.
The story is right. Our gov is no longer functioning on any level. Its a front.

Alot of people think it will be over within the next 8-12 weeks. Is that due to seeing facts or observations and feelings of gov failure? Interesting.

A huge problem as I see it -- is the American public is too dumbed down to understand stuff like this.
It is far easier to ignore stuff they don't understand.
Ignorance is killing this country.
If the American public actually stopped to understand - they would be fricken furious.

In book, ex-regulator Sheila Bair blasts bankers..
snip:
In her book “Bull By the Horns: Fighting to Save Main Street from Wall Street and Wall Street From Itself,” released Tuesday, the former chairwoman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. took aim at the bankers she blamed for the crisis. She also criticized fellow regulators, including current Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, for their response to the problems.
Bair painted Geithner, the former head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, as an apologist for Wall Street, opposing some post-crisis changes. She questioned whether his effort to inject billions of dollars into nine big banks masked a rescue intended solely for Citigroup, a theory that other government officials have rejected.
When the FDIC was negotiating the contours of a plan to guarantee bank debt, she said Geithner pushed the agency to charge banks only a “minimal” fee in return for the government support. Geithner and other regulators argued that it was counterproductive to assign hefty costs at a time when the industry needed saving.

If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

Totally agreed.
In the story above, the perps stole Billions (with a "B") and the court is going to let this go. This could not happen unless the Justice Department had been neutered. If the Justice Department was functioning normally, they would be all over this judge and all over the case.
This indicates to me that the system is going to be crashed, and crashed hard, soon. People need to have water, food and other essentials to take of their needs for an extended period.

If we really understood what they were doing, the streetcorners of Washington and New York would be filled with gallows.
