Whales/Shark beaching in Miami, RI, and Scotland-Isaac stirred up BP Toxins?
When I first saw the story of the Beached Pilot whales in Miami, the possibility that Isaac stirred up toxins from the BP spill, and Corexit, came to mind.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/h...story.html
The five whales were among a group of 22 whales beached in South Florida on Saturday. The rest died of natural causes or had to be euthanized.
Then the story of Shark beaching in Rhode Island...
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massach...story.html
Cause of shark's death on RI-Mass border unclear
Then, I see the story about the same species Beaching in Scotland..
http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/20...sfeed=true
16 pilot whales die in Scottish coveRescuers refloat another 10 stranded whales but say their chances of survival are 50-50
Is it possible anything stirred up entered the Gulf Stream and flowed up the Atlantic Coast then to Scotland???

I just found it interesting that it all popped up at the same time, and coincided with Isaac. Though the storm was not strong. It's sheer size and slow pace as it moved across the gulf was projected to stir up some things.
Along the coast here, people were told to watch out for tar balls from the storm surge and to be sure and not handle them with bare hands.

Im so glad Im not directly on the coast. I would completely lose it if I came up on something like that.
Well if it can do THIS, to humans. I can only imagine what it would do to something Living in it.

Just found this from two days ago.
LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - Residents in one Palm Beach County community are complaining about the smell of dead fish.
Fanny Banks and her neighbors smell the dead fish in the canal along 170th and Valencia Boulevard. Dozens of dead fish of all sizes are in the canal and leaving behind a bad odor. Fanny said, "I had to put my hand over my nose because it was smelling so bad."

Good theory, but would Corex(sp) make it all the way up to Scotland along the current in less than a week from FL?

russia just admitted to openly dumping nuclear waste of all sorts including spent nuclear fuel cores and reactors into the sea over a period of decades
how much do you think we have dumped?
the oceans are really messed up, hopefully the species can mutate and adapt
i sometimes think that these creatures often identified as greys aren't extraterrestrial, but perhaps time travelers from eons in the future and are something we had to evolve into because of a toxic environment

Mmmm... Good question. I know back during the spill there were projections, but now... I dont know. Where would we find out that info?

I just dont understand it. How can any human being do something like that without second thought to the consequences.
I know we see it all the time, in so many different ways. But I still cant understand it.

RE: Whales/Shark beaching in Miami, RI, and Scotland-Isaac stirred up BP Toxins?
I found this, but I am soooo Horrible with numbers.
http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/gulfstreamspeed.html
The Gulf Stream is an intense, warm ocean current in the western North Atlantic Ocean. It moves north along the coast of Florida and then turns eastward off of North Carolina, flowing northeast across the Atlantic.
Off the Atlantic seaboard of the United States, the Gulf Stream flows at a rate nearly 300 times faster than the typical flow of the Amazon River. The velocity of the current is fastest near the surface, with the maximum speed typically about 5.6 miles per hour (nine kilometers per hour). The average speed of the Gulf Stream, however, is four miles per hour (6.4 kilometers per hour). The current slows to a speed of about one mile per hour (1.6 kilometers per hour) as it widens to the north.
The Gulf Stream transports nearly four billion cubic feet of water per second, an amount greater than that carried by all of the world's rivers combined.

Thank you!
I guess that throws the theory about Isaac causing it out the window.
Unless, what has already reached that area since the spill played a part in that beaching?
I personally dont think we will ever get straight answers on the full extent of the damage that spill did, and more then the spill the Corexit that pumped down there to hide the amount that was being spilled.

RE: Whales/Shark beaching in Miami, RI, and Scotland-Isaac stirred up BP Toxins?
Friends on the Mississippi Gulf coast have found oil on there property...not the tar ball kind either, immediately after Isaac's passing. One resident was approached by a gub-mint official and questioned what he was doing...he replied he was simply checking on his property, but pointed out the oil he found. The official called someone and within 30 mins. there were suburbans full of folks arriving. Apparently they were looking for this. He was told oil has a DNA and they were going to find out where it came from.
Today, I had a second friend who lives very close to the first one say has the same problem, and his pond is full of dead fish now. He lives near the gulf on a tributary. Pardon my spelling if I got that wrong lol.
So I don't think your analysis is far off at all.
