It just dawned on me. (pardon the pun) CERN is underground like all the D.U.M.B.S. and shelters for people (in Moscow etc) so that we survive what's headed our way. Maybe CERN is the master computer for the underground networks. Maybe it's the master computer to reboot civilization. Maybe it's like the underground seed vault.

I've never heard anyone say what I just said.

Any comments or other ideas what CERN's real function is?

It's to do legitimate sub atomic research and to help us understand particle physics. It's also a testimony to how the United States missed the boat in the 90's when congress underfunded science and made us the laughing stock of the planet. What a wonderful opportunity we missed out on. I hope we learn from our mistake.

To discover (prove) the Grand Unified Theory. The Theory of Everything that connects the micro with the macro laws of physics. Supposedly the math works for string theory.

I didn't say it was a seed vault.

Do you think TPTB are going underground?
If so, do you think CERN is connected to their network and may serve a dual purpose? I don't want to waste this thread explaining what CERN is. People that reply will already have a clue, I am hoping. Maybe we can think farther?

I don't think "TPTB" would give two squirts about it unless it finds something that would threaten their profits. If it were otherwise they would have built the damn thing in Texas in the 90's.
