What kind of mind control tech could make you forget specific things?
There is a forum that often removes posts. It seems like when people are right on the pulse of the truth - the comments will vanish. I had it happen to a few of my comments there too. The thing that bothered me was that I couldn't recall anything about the comment when I saw it was gone.

Not a word or subject matter....nothing. Even if I wrote it, I couldn't recall anything about it.....minutes later. I couldn't recall others' comments either. There was one thread that most comments were removed on...but of course, I can't remember the subject. I found it amusing at the time because it seemed tame compared to other threads.

My memory is better than most people's. I'm not that spacey. It was a red flag and I ditched the site.

I've never experienced anything like that on any other forum. I always recall what it is that I wrote that got removed because it's kind of amusing. It doesn't happen to me that much.

So, say for example, the DOD ran that site and had all kinds of interesting tools at their disposal. What would have that effect on people's minds? How is this done? What would you call it? Anyone?

WTF is a "Lilly Wave"?

I never noticed that over there. Then again I am a bit spaced. What I did notice there were certain shills who were there 24/7.

I am going with hypnosis, and subliminals embedded in the videos and flash ads.

It really is amazing what one sees in some of the videos, even more amazing what one encounters in the .pdf links.

consider the people around you that make your decisions everyday.... For example, today I wanted to cut my hair short. My hairdresser said no. She then smiled and said she liked it long. I didn't argue.

She knows best.

Maybe you relied on the Internet instead of your leak memory. If you store your info on the Internet instead of your brain, then it can be deleted quite easily. :)

This reply is in reference to your mentioning of another place.

I used to copy my reply before I posted it. Because often it would not post, or would disappear shortly after posting.
Then it got to the point that while I was typing the reply, the words would slow down.
Once I posted it took awhile to update the thread.
Also would log me off after some of those posts.
Had difficulty getting back onto the site.
Then had difficulty logging in again.
I think there is some software that analyzes responses as they are typed and posted to determine if they are "suitable".

Another phenomena ( 8{ ) is that when I asserted some truth or obvious flaw in reasoning of certain posters, a flood of bs crap replies would quickly appear to bury my reply.
Or out of nowhere a member (of the "group") would instantly jump on my reply with accusations, insults, or diversionary tactics.

Yes, the depressing memories of the latter days of the poo pit.

It was a great place until late 2010.

There was definitely some sophisticated software that turned up the heat progressively on users that were stridently advocating for reason, truth, the good of humanity and justice in that cyber experiment.

"The unexamined life is not worth living."--Socrates"
There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true."
— Søren Kierkegaard
Most arguments rely on appeals to authority or morality. Truth and reason necessarily rely on neither.

I'm pretty sure I know of that site.
It is feasible and it all depends on who you think is really behind that site and what level they go to.

I have discussed with other people and at other places some possibility as there were many similar experiences with "strange" things there. Some people noticed and others didn't.

Some possibilities. They are just clowns who have understood how to manipulate frame rates and insert images and words phrases. I had a friend who swore with rapid blinking you could sometimes get a glimpse if you timed it right. LOL
I thought a good quality DVD camera might work better.

There are lots of known manipulations that can be done via hidden information in the screen that only the subconscious mind can see.
Remember that site is known for it's addictive quality, something in the frame rate?

Theory two.
They are bastards who work for military and Intel agencies and they have some of the slickest toys on the planet to play with peoples minds and they test them out [and abuse their powers with them because..why not] on people there.

Theory three.
Psychic enhancement technology.

Theory 4
they be witches and warlocks [this has been claimed before]

So yes..... anything is possible in theory, if you gave your brain more than seven subliminal stimulus's in a short time your short term memory register [contains around 7 of the last thoughts/ideas you just had on average] could be shunted out of what you were thinking into the new subliminal images/words and that would mean you wouldn't be able to remember what you were thinking about until maybe 30 minutes later when they go from short term to long term register of memory. well that is how it works for me.

So perhaps nothing so sinister just some duplicity below our level of conscious perception.
I'm personally a fan of several of those theories mixed together.
