It's the sssssssnake!

Snake Totem
The snake symbolizes regneration and rebirth, intelligence and knowledge, restlessness, and the energy of the consciousness (kundalini). Snakes shed their skins and have the ability to show us the many layers to our personas.

In some traditions spiritual awakening is represented by the snake/serpent. Kundalini energy as it rises through the chakras is said to be coiled at the base of the spine like a snake. Snake people are drawn to explore the mysteries of life and will experience many "rebirths" throughout their life, often exploring many different levels of consciousness.

Personal Reflection...
When snake comes to visit you it tells you that knowledge is power and to seek your inner source to conquer fears and renew your spirit. Snakes symbolize restlessness and the desire to seek and explore. Snake encourages you to shed your layers so you can get to the core of your being and access your authentic self in its truest form.

:)

Great to see you Gracie. Hugs

The site is for TODAY'S animal...And thats cool fun and all.. But you guys know that its really not good to give away your REAL Totem right??? It can give others power over you.. Others you may not want to have that power...

Mine for today from the site was whale...

Whale symbolizes communications, music, maternal instinct, and emotional sensitivity. Whales have a distinct sound and use their "songs" to communicate with one another. Whales are excellent mothers and very protective of their young keeping them very close to them while swimming. Mother whales are sometimes observed playing with their babies and demonstrating affection.

Whale people tend to be musically gifted, expressing their deep emotions through song or other creative outlets. Whale people often feel the emotions of others are very empathic.
Personal Reflection...

When whale appears to you it inspires you to get in touch with your creative side, to express your emotions through song or sound. Whales are very protective and having one as your guide allows you to explore the depths of your inner world with greater ease.

Dream Symbolism

Whales in dreams are said to be symbols of protection and a sign that your worries are coming to an end.
Singing together some cosmic song =) Cheers

If a horse has shown up in your life, you must ask yourself:
"Am I feeling constricted? Do you need to move on or allow others to move on?"

I was about 19 when i moved to Oak Ridge Tenn. i stayed up on a farm with my cousins and aunt and i had gotten drunk one night and went outside. i was looking up at the stars when behind me i heard a winnie and turned around and there was a horse. my cousin said " be careful, those horses are not friendly" there were a couple that came out of no where. they get out of the fence sometimes up there. and it was right up in my face looking at me through that one eye and i just stood there and petted it. my cousin said damn your crazy were gonna start calling you Horse. and they did and still do. as my nickname.

RE: What's your Animal Totem?
I have a couple, but the oldest is a tiger, and when I was about 3 years old I could interact with it, I was also pretty scared of it, they are huge to a three year old.

I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books. I have begun to listen to the teachings my blood whispers to me: Hermann Hesse

If there be magic, let it be an art.

Why mew a Raccondoomed
Tarot Kittenh knows, but why?, mew feel like a MiauwS977

I've drawn the Raccoon card recently it has a good message to share. :)

RACCOON

Dexterity and Disguise

The magic of the Raccoon is in its mask.
Masks are a powerful magical tool:
you can achieve altered states
through the use of mask,
you can become
someone or something else
behind a mask.

A Raccoon totem can teach you how to wear masks for many reasons
as the need arises.
It can teach you how to mask, disguise and transform yourself.
Don't you act differently with your boss, parents, children, husband, friend, strangers.
Those are all masks you put on.

Masks are one of the tools of transformation.
It helps us to change what we are into what we want to be.

Raccoons also teach you how to put asleep the part of you that is not needed
and awaken the aspect of yourself that is.

If you are a Raccoon person, eating mostly fruit and vegetables will be beneficial to your health.

A Raccoon totem has a long influence on your life.
It is not a short-time totem, but rather will stay with you for a long time.
