hmm i seem to be partial to night animals. have always had run ins with owls as well..usually when im trying to figure a complicated matter out.

Cicada Totem

The Cicada is a symbol of rebirth and longevity. People with this totem are strong communicators and often find rewarding opportunities as the result of patience and persistence. Personal Reflection...

Cicada remains underground for much of its life before emerging. When cicada appears to you it speaks of a need to come out from hiding, to break free of what restricts you. Cicada loses its shell and symbolizes our ability to come out from the shadows and let our inner being break free from oppression. Cicada has a distinctive sound all its own - use cicada's wisdom to inspire you to share your own voice.

Dream Symbolism

Cicada's in your dreams are said to symbolize challenge. When they appear in your dreams it means you feel you are not being challenged enough or that your creativity is slipping away.

Deer Totem

Deer symbolizes grace, beauty, and gentleness. They are very agile and fast runners allowing them to escape from predators. They are also highly adaptable, and their hooves allow them to quickly navigate rough wooded terrain. Deer are social creatures and depend on the herd for safey in numbers. Each group member watches over all the others.

Personal Reflection...

When deer appears to you it reminds you to be gentle with yourself, to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you. Deer reminds you that even in challenging times you have what you need to survive and thrive. Deer sometimes appears in challenging times to tell you to "gather up" with your friends/family and work together in the spirit of cooperation.
