"When the moon is in the 7th house and Jupiter aligns with Mars then peace will guide the planets and love will steal the stars"

We all know the song, but what does it all mean?
The Age of Aquarius is upon us and I thought everyone would be interested in learning what it means.
Astrologers believe that an astrological age affects mankind,

Traditionally, Aquarius is associated with electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealists, modernization, astrology, nervous disorders, rebellion, nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, humanity, and irresolution.

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more forces of derision
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelations
And the mind's true liberation

" When astrologers speak about the Age of Aquarius they are describing a phenomenon that refers to the earth's movement backward (or in "retrograde" motion) into the sign of Aquarius. As you know, there are 11 other signs of the zodiac -- the earth will retrograde in each one. It will take the earth 25,868 years to visit all 12 signs. If you divide 25,868 by 12 signs, you will get roughly 2,100 years to a particular "age". Thus, once the Age of Aquarius is upon us (and many astrologers, myself included, feel we have reached this point) it will stay the Age of Aquarius for two thousand years. But classical astrologers do not feel the precession of the zodiac changes the inherent qualities of the signs.

The age before the Age of Aquarius was the Age of Pisces. Since the earth is moving in retrograde motion, we have just left the Age of Pisces, which marked the years 1-2000 AD. This time coincides with the age of Christ and Christianity. " [link to http://www.astrologyzone.com]

Influences Of The Age Of Aquarius
Here’s a list of some of the qualities that Aquarian Age, that come from these 3 influences...

idealism

solidarity and fellowship

kindness and compassion

philanthropy and altruism

spiritual awareness

revelation of Truth

equality

democracy

freedom

peace

love

equanimity

modernisation

rebels and rebellion

nonconformity

perseverance

computerization

What to Expect in The Age Of Aquarius?
All these qualities paint a picture of the kind of world we are becoming. In the Aquarian age we could expect to see...

International collaboration, a sense of solidarity and unity that crosses all boundaries. In fact, it's likely that the boundaries themselves may vanish, seen at last for the imaginary divisions that they really are.

We can create real governmental representation, a true democracy that really cares for the needs of the people. And not just for the short term, but in consideration of all those who will follow after us.

As the very belief in divisions and separations falls away, we regain our membership in the fellowship of this planet. We see ourselves once again as siblings to all creatures, and servants of the well-being of the Earth.

We will naturally extend kindness, compassion, and care to all beings, as we can perceive ourselves to all be one consciousness.

This means...
peace on Earth

an end to poverty

an end to slavery in all forms

true justice reigns

harmony and respect are the common mindset

We will leave behind "the superstition of materialism" (as Deepak Chopra so aptly calls it), understanding at last that we have no need for material possessions and money when we can manifest what we need, and when all humans take care of one another.

Religions will lose their hierarchical, authoritarian structure. Spirituality becomes the primary focus -- the individual connection with the Divine Source.

Rules, morals, and blind obedience will fall away, replaced by personal responsibility, spiritual wisdom, and ethics.

Individuals and societies achieve higher consciousness and enlightenment.

Humanitarianism and human rights become the foundation of social policy.

We cherish and celebrate uniqueness, not expecting other people to conform to some arbitrary standard out of our fear of differences. We will treasure the diversity that the Source creates.

There is likely to be much more computerization.

We may begin to travel to other planets and stars. And/or visitors from other stars may make themselves known.

It's not all roses and butterflies, sisters... but I do agree with one thing. After the dust settles and the rebuilding begins there may be hope for a new golden age where the control structures of the world are abandoned. (At least for a while).

Petrus Romanus is The Age of Aquarius.

From 1855:

This is a merger of the last part of the "prophecy", that St. Peter symbolizes Aquarius, and what happened last time:

The "dreadful Judge" is Aquarius, the flood bringer.

Sort of like releasing the pressure in a vessel, then letting it build again?

Not the monthly calendar at all. This one takes 25,000 years to complete.

Do you realize how very far we are from such a belief change?

Or how very near when the Singular (one and only) event occurs that can dispell the strong delusion that the lie of materialism is based on: unbelief in the One True God who ALONE is the provider of all our needs and the healer of all our diseases, who has no need for money and values no human life over that of another.

Materialism is the worship and serving of the created things rather than the Creator (Romans 1). The profiteers of such a system are those who capitalize or exploit others with it.

That's a funny interpretation of the Phoenix stories.

We are so very far from it because we are still in the age of Pisces once the deception wears off the truth will set us free and the truth does not lye within material possessions.
