Jews had Israel forced on them after the war & holocaust. They never wanted to go to the hostile region.

In order to make this "prophecy" come true Jews had to somehow get back to Palestine.

In Medieval times and later some people used the Bible to justify attacks against Africans and Native Americans too.

Some claimed the Africans were Hamitic people and Ham's progeny was cursed by Noah for seeing Noah drunk and naked, so they were cursed to be slaves and thus slavery was justified.
