When Work is Punished: The Tragedy of America's Welfare State
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2012-11-27...fare-state

A family of four with one working head of the household making minimim wage has more disposable income than the same family that earns $69,000 a year.

There are 1.65 private sector workers for every person living on government hand outs.

There are 1.25 private sector workers for every welfare recipient and government employee.

I actually like her work until she gets on the feminist rants.

then she just sounds bitter and petty.

Like John Rambo,

I bet they would have made a cute couple.

And thus we have another moron. Anyone who thinks her work has any credibility is a moron and just a brainwashed child of American propaganda.

Weird,

I thought the $36k average income for mechanics was punishment,

and pencil-dicked day-trading criminals stealing pensions was unfair.

Your stats are counting SS recipients as "welfare recipients" and "living on government handouts". I bet Medicaid and Medicare are also included

My gross production in year 2000 was $250,OOO, earned $37,500 before taxes.
It's a structural problem industry-wide(and in most skilled labor jobs).

I'd estimate the net profit for my boss around $80-120k maybe on my labor, but it's not an interpersonal problem, (It wasn't a worse deal than was offered elsewhere)

That's why I refuse to do it anymore.

Not because people are on the Dole,(I'm not-might have to be later) but it's not worth the stress, injuries, wear and tear on a person. Jamie Dimon is the Welfare queen that pisses me off, not some economically captured schmuck in section 8 up the street.

RE: When Work is Punished: The Tragedy of America's Welfare State
Jobs are becoming a thing of the past, there's just too damn much CRAP and responsibility involved in hiring other people these days. I only have one business left with employees and that's because I'm only part owner of that one and don't have the final say, but I shut the other down last month after obama won. I think I'll do better on my own all by myself and all for myself from now on. f*ck everyone else, particularly the ungrateful job needers - you can go make your own damn jobs for yourselves from now on and demand blah blah blah for yourselves from yourselves ha ha ha ha.

“A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.”
― Ayn Rand

“Devotion to the truth is the hallmark of morality; there is no greater, nobler, more heroic form of devotion than the act of a man who assumes the responsibility of thinking.”
― Ayn Rand

“A government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.”
― Ayn Rand

“He liked to observe emotions; they were like red lanterns strung along the dark unknown of another's personality, marking vulnerable points.”
― Ayn Rand

and my Very favorite:

“There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
― Ayn Rand
