Try reading what is in it rather than what you have been told to believe about it and then rail against someone else beliefs....

no one had to tell me the Bible and religion is manipulated BS, I had unshakable faith in that belief of my own accord Lmao

Rev 6:2 I looked up and saw a white horse standing there. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed on his head. He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory.

Thoughts?

Right!

Quote:Quetzalcoatl (Classical Nahuatl: Quetzalcohuātl [ketsaɬˈko.aːtɬ]) is a Mesoamerican deity whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and has the meaning of "feathered serpent".[1] The worship of a feathered serpent deity is first documented in Teotihuacan in the first century BC or first century AD.[2] That period lies within the Late Preclassic to Early Classic period (400 BC–600AD) of Mesoamerican chronology, and veneration of the figure appears to have spread throughout Mesoamerica by the Late Classic (600–900 AD).[3]

Faith/belief.....your usage shows no semantic distinction. Thus syntactic fail. No pragmatic value. Cheers

Just taking a gander here.

"I looked up"
-Something in the sky? perhaps a ship of some sort, they obviously wouldn't completely understand such a thing, so it is described as a horse due to having a rider.

"Its rider carried a bow"
-A gun would likely be described as some sort of bow, or possibly a missile. In function their nothing alike but a missile could easily be misinterpreted as some massive form of arrow.

"and a crown was placed on his head."
-It doesn't say anything about why he was crowned, hostile and advanced force shows up, with technology they couldn't possibly understand. It would make sense that they would naturally see him as a god of some sort and perhaps crown him.

"He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory."
-Main thing I notice here is that it does not speak of anyone being with him. He simply rode out and defeated them.

This could be way off but after seeing the UFO war thread I guess my minds kinda going in that direction haha.

Why so?

because we stick our nose in everyone's business and we have gained victory in most. Eventually though,it's going to bite back :(

Yet, the Rider has no limit to his victory...

Where do you see America as riding purity and having a crown of eternal life?

it doesn't say crown of eternal life and as for the white horse and purity.....america broke off from other rigid religions to have freedom of worship of what they believe.....At one time a form of purity(although no longer) jmho

It is William Lawrence Boyd (1895-1972), AKA Hopalong Cassidy.

but also kings and leaders wear crowns. This particular chapter deals with the tribulation times which makes me think the writer is talking about the leaders of the lands.

The crown the rider wears is not that of an earthly kingdom. The Greek is stephanos (4735), and denotes "the victor's crown, the symbol of triumph in the games ... a token of public honor for distinguished service" (VED). It is the same word used for the crown of thorns that Jesus wore. This crown is for the victory of Christ described in Rev. 5. The same Greek word appears in Rev. 2:10, where Jesus said, "Be faithful, even to the point of death and I will give you the crown of life." The ten kings of the ten-horned beast in Rev. 13 do not wear victors’ crowns but diadems, earthly crowns.

how do you know if the writer of revelations 6 was speaking of earthly or heavenly crowns?
