Chlorphyll doesn't absorb green light. If you put a filter between the earth and sun that strippped out green light, plants would grow just as well as they do know.

Oxygen isn't green. if anything, it would be faintly blue tinged.

Womam knows this, because it's been explained to her every time she tries to use this as proof of ID. She's trying to find an audience dumb enough to buy her arguments, but hasn't had much luck yet.

I never said oxygen was green.

I said if it weren't for the green plants on earth, there would be no oxygen...

hence the logical FACT in my previous equation that for some reason, some of you low level cogitators can't grok...ffs.

and again...in Haiku form for you simpletons...

*Without the color green in nature...
there would be no life on earth...
because GREEN in Nature = OXYGEN...

now pay attention to the EQUALS sign and it's inherent implication....as in the math equation 1 + 1 = 2

...
GREEN PLANTS EMIT OXYGEN, HENCE GREEN IN NATURE = OXYGEN

which is like saying Ocean Water evaporation = RAIN.

CAN YOU GROK THAT?

everything on the list in my OP was necessary for life in all the ways we know it, to flourish on this blue dot.

now ask yourself if you can still conclude that our existence on this planet did not have a pre-existing purpose, and was purely wrought into form by serendipitous positioning of our planet from the sun, and a random chance of chain events triggered by chemically induced mindless meandering biological accidents...

This is the cluster of galaxies where the Milky Way resides. Each of these dots are 1 to hundreds of galaxies, holding anywhere from 10 million to 100 trillion stars each. The number of stars alone is mind boggling, yet alone the number of planets that are orbiting them.

We are very special. Pre-existing purpose? In ALL this?! ... that's kind of conceited isn't it?

conceited?

nah...I like to think there is purpose in all things.

So why do you and others rush so quickly to negate purpose in our human existence...?

I'm not negating purpose, just the pre-existing part. Makes it less special if it was all done for us.

it reminds me of how conditions need to be perfect for mushrooms to fruit.

mckenna once waxed philosophical that human consciousness may have found it's way to earth from space by means of a mushroom spore. pan spermia.

in any event, the situation of the earth and it's position in the solar system is nothing short of amazing. truly a blessing to be alive.

. . . imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, ‘This is an interesting world I find myself in’an interesting hole I find myself in’fits me rather neatly, doesn’t it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!’ This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it’s still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything’s going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. I think this may be something we need to be on the watch out for. - Douglas Adams
