Why I Am No Longer a Christian

In this series the author (YouTuber Evid3nc3) explains his life as a born-again Christian, his deconversion, and his life as an atheist.

In the deconversion section, he shows how evidence, reason, and experiences related to prayer, morality, deconverted Christians, the Bible, and his relationship with God Himself all lead to his eventual inability to believe anymore.

The series Why I am no longer a Christian is not finished. It is a work in progress. Based on the author’s current notes for the series, he should be releasing a new video in the series once a month until April 2012. Every new video will be automatically added in the playlist above.

Being religious requires belief in the divine, Atheism is belief there is no divine, divine fail.

Hi LS, good to see you. I was never a Christian so I don't know what that process of there and back again might be like. I wonder though if people need to discard all sense of the mystery because they come to disbelieve in a god. Can't we see the sacredness without the need for the divinity?

i see all things as being alive and sacred.

a tree, an animal, fellow humans, birds and even stones.\

every atom is alive.

to think we are all made up of billions of atoms and that those atoms have all been here for billions of years...

to not see the sacredness is to turn a blind eye to what is there.

this documentary so far is pretty good.

Not sure if i would consider myself a christian but i know i am not an atheist.

To me there is a creator call it God if that name can mean what it is.

I feel there is no name for it thou it is beyond names and description in my opinion.
