This I understand:
Most believers in God look forward to an eternal future. Thus, they have a purpose to convert nonbeliever into believers in order to save their eternal soul.

This I understand:
Atheists believe that life is in the nervous system, and upon death that system ceases to operate. Thus the atheist believes in an eternity of nothingness.

This is what I do not understand
It is obvious that much work was put into that video in an effort to turn believers into nonbelievers. What is the purpose of that? If nothingness is the destiny for all atheists, then why does it matter what other people choose to think?

I would say that the dogmatized institutional religious Christian could greatly benefit by rejecting all of that completely.
If they are serious on their journey of understanding and faith.
Re-read all the religious texts of any faith that one can get their hands on. With an open heart and mind.
The end result will provide a fully realized and internally consistent, deeply held understanding and faith in who one is, what one's relation to a God or not is intimately and faithfully comprised of.
And no room will be left in one's heart for attacking or condemning anyone of any other faith.
Its just a lifelong journey, and there are many discernible paths.
