Why did Napoleon visit the great pyramid?
?
"In the 18th century many foreign visitors came to the great pyramid. They were scholars, scientists, historians, explorers, etc. One of the most famous visitors to the great pyramid was Napoleon Bonaparte. His military expedition to Egypt in 1798 was not only military but archeological as well. He took with him engineers, surveyors, astronomers, artists and archeologists. They surveyed, measured, explored, and made drawings of the great pyramid. Their work was published in many volumes from 1809 to 1822 by order of Napoleon.
A remarkable picture of the Grand Gallery by the French architect Cecile during the Napoleonic Campaign in Egypt A.D. 1798-1801
There is an interesting note to this story about Napoleon on his visit to the great pyramid. He asked to be left alone in the King’s chamber. When he emerged, it was reported that he looked visibly shaken. When an aide asked him if he had witnessed anything mysterious, he replied that he had no comment, and that he never wanted the incident mentioned again. Years later, when he was on his deathbed, a close friend asked him what really happened in the King’s chamber. He was about to tell him and stopped. Then he shook his head and said, "No, what's the use. You'd never believe me." As far as we know, he never told anyone and took the secret to his grave. (It is interesting to note that there is an unsubstantiated story that Napoleon had hinted that he was given some vision of his destiny during his stay in the King's Chamber). "

Napolean died on St Helena under British arrest in the middle of the Atlantic! He didn't have any "close friends" just prison guards.

 Not just prison guards-read on...
"Napoleon abdicated on June 22, 1815, hoping that his son would rule France. He tried to board a ship for the United States, but the British Navy foiled him again, preventing any ships from leaving the port where Napoleon intended to embark from. Napoleon, afraid of execution at the hands of a restored Louis XVIII, then asked the British to protect him. He hoped to perhaps go back to Elba, where he had been reasonably happy. But Britain would never make that mistake again, and sent him to the remote island of Saint Helena, in the South Pacific. Napoleon protested his sentence wildly, but there was nothing he could do. On October 15, 1815, Napoleon left for the South Atlantic. Only a handful of friends accompanied him this time.
On Saint Helena, Napoleon lived at Longwood Manor, previously home to the lieutenant governor of the island. The former emperor was given freedom to move about, although he had to be accompanied by an English officer at all times. Napoleon became depressed, usually slept late and never went outdoors. He worked on his memoirs, called the Memorial de Sainte-Helena. His life was fairly boring, especially for someone who had lived as exciting an existence as Napoleon. With no hope of a return to Europe, he lived out his last years in a reclusive existence following a very repetitive daily routine.
By 1817, Napoleon's health was declining, and he wrote a will requesting that his ashes be strewn on the banks of the Seine, "in the midst of the French people which I have loved so much." Napoleon died on May 5, 1821."

RE: Why did Napoleon visit the great pyramid?
More intriguing Napoleon info-
"Both Thule and Vril are using Scandinavian Gods and Goddesses as aliases within the Order, and they even have a Nordic language that the Inner Circle speaks which they have spoken on Earth for over 11,000 years. It has been passed down to each inner circle’s successor. The following pretty much summarizes Thule’s present view on humanity and its’ future.
It comes from a Thule Insider and is translated from German:
This is what we need to understand! We are all parts of this [God's] plan. There are lots of pieces in God’s great game. Unfortunately, mankind learns only by disasters or wars and then we develop a new collective consciousness!
The Akasha Chronicle is nurtured from the development of human beings, and as bad as it sounds: Napoleon and Hitler were factors in the collective consciousness of mankind - a child learns from a little pain - humanity learns from this child. But it will be accompanied by a great divine assistance, which is generally in the literature of the esoterics which the “Great White Brotherhood” refers to.
We need have no fear, because lurking behind the Stargate is not the death or monsters. It shows the kind and loving creator. The “Great White Brotherhood” is the guardian of ideas. The gods have invoked the Brotherhood of Agartha - The Order of Thule, and other magic systems work in the construction of the new eon. Hope is our principle."
