The FBI is playing the bluff game. They say the hackers are lying and the laptop was not compromised. Maybe someone could download the list and verify?

Seems to me, first find out which iApp has had 12 million downloads...

She then plays him to sleep and hacks into his laptop, carefully copying the first large files on the desktop and documents folder onto the 16GB USB stick daintily concealed in her Brastrap.

Hoping to score some dirt on the guy to either use as blackmail or merely interesting Gossip, she then turns the 16GB over to her pals at her HighSchool Computer Club.

I mentioned this before. They can trace what you say on your devices (also your laptops if you don't spoof the mac address) to who you are. It's a more sophisticated version of profiling that wouldn't necessarily involve the other methods I outlined in that thread. It's likely not for "recording" because they already record that at the hubs, so it's more of a case of database building.

This is nothing shocking...and I'm sure they have the serial number tags for other smart phones in addition to mac addresses for anything that has ever connected to the internet.
