RE: Wild Elephants gather inexplicably, mourn death of “Elephant Whisperer”
Beautiful story OP! Thank you so much for sharing.
Sometimes I wonder if Angels use animals sometimes on this earth.
I realize most here don't share my views on Religion. And those that do, many will likely disagree. I still can't help but wonder
"Lest we be 'terrified by our adversaries,' it is well to remember that Satan’s power is not inherent but permitted (Romans 13:1). It is not unlimited, but controlled (Job 1:12; 2:6). It is not invincible, but broken (Luke 11:21-11). It is not assured of success, but is surely doomed "(Revelation 20:2-3)

pinned for memory of the man
Chupi enjoys crumpled threads, drizzled with Balsamic vinegar, and Tiny likes Raw Trollmeat sushi-like.

Heard 3 psychics being interviewed. When asked - where is the worse place you've ever been (psychic-wise)?
They ALL answered zoos. They said the animals pain was palpable.
Me too. I have boycotted zoos since I was 13 and first noticed that. They're right on.

Animals prefer the consistency of zoo life just as humans accustom themselves to the rituals and abundance of modern society, their own sort of zoo. Zoo animals rarely run away, even if given the opportunity, and they enjoy the abundant water and food. In the wild, by contrast, life is a constant battle for survival, a race against the odds and other creatures. Death is a constant presence and possibility. All of us living in modern society are essentially zoo creatures, defanged and protected from the wilderness waiting for us beyond the enclosure walls, walls from which Pi will soon be freed. Yann Martel from "The Life of Pi"
zoo animals have it pretty good. If you want some bad vibes, visit a slaughter house.
All rivers return to the sea.

the amazing part was that they instinctively knew he had passed over, and arrived at his homestead to 'pay their respects'.

humans have lost/forgot much of the heightened , natural senses animals still have
maybe it was a trade off when we got ego.....
