The word apocalypse means "unveiling". So are you really asking, "Will you survive a near-extinction event?

If so, my response is: I hope not. I hope to be in the afterlife. Let tptb survive the near-extinction event.

Most people can't think their way out of a paper bag. Those that can think on their feet and adapt to the situation have the best chance. So that means maybe 2 out of 10.

The thing that concerns me the most is the thing we have to fear the most in the aftermath of an apocalypse....... other humans .

So Im not so sure I want to survive it either

I started prepping and then I started thinking about how physically and mentally equipped I would be to face this and the truth is, Im not.

So if the apocalypse is mild, Ill be ok...otherwise Im happy to go

Same way rats survive. Get as far under ground as I can in my urban area and still be near a supply of food, water and females. Thought hopefully not as hairy, etc as the rat kind.
