oh!
its the one i showed you? lol! DOH!!
its very pretty lol..

It is the very one. Seemed very appropriate for a full Scorpio moon even thought the moon in it is a cresent.

well yes it is!
did you go fishing and star gazing..?

We decided to go fishing today but I did go out moon watching. There is too much city lights for us to see very many of the stars. The planet Venus was looking very lovely though.

From the looks of it I won't get to go fishing today either. But I'll make the best of it.

I like to fish for blue gill the big ones. My husband used to fish for the bass but has switched to catfish lately. Catfish are more active at night.

Of course there are several other fish that are great to catch...walleye, croppie...

ALL-TIME FAVORITE!!

The one and only reason I loved Didneyland... "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride"!!

I wonder if it's even still there...

CheerCheerCheer

Yes, it's still there :) That ride is a staple of Fantasyland at Disneyland. I doubt it will ever be gone. Love that ride so much, as I love the stories and the movies.

Today's trip is to a small lake. We went out there the other evening for a bit and there were a couple guys out fly fishing in a canoe. I think we need to rent one sometime or look for a used one we could buy. We do have a truck so we could easily transport it.

RE: Wind in the Willows
Funny, missed that book as a child, though I read about everything else, it seems! Just around this past Christmas, I finally read it online (killed my eyes!) and also watched every film version I could find on Youtube. Don't know if I saw that 1983 one, but I'll watch it whether or not! The live action version with Monty Python members is good. Also, I am 43, and have read both The Hobbit and LOTR a dozen times by now, and never had realized how big an influence WITW was on Tolkien!
