Lets say a prayer:

My God! You are the only power! You are the master of everything. You are the controller of all motions and emotions! You blow the wind, scattering seeds and life wherever you choose, you alone are the bringer of the harvest, provider of all food and care to those who depend on you always!

It is you who spreads fertility in the world! It is you who makes things barren, and from that state, can easily bring them back to life!

It is you who controls the force and speed of everything.

You control all processes of all things on all levels!

You control the sun and the moon, the orbits and the stars. You form the galactic clouds, and you can bring them all to an end in an instant.

It is you alone who expands this universe, and it is you alone who can collapse it and expand it again!

You created this planet with ease, and never did you tire or feel fatigue. Nothing tires you, all mighty master, nothing is hard for you!

You are the provider of the air we breath! The space we live in! You are the master of all households, the ruler of Earth and all that exists within it and beyond it!

All the loftiest praise belongs to you alone, who causes things to grow, and makes things to die!

All glory belongs to you alone Majesty! You who makes the thunder clap, and the flash of lightning.

Everything is in constant praise of you! You are the only creator, the bringer of storms, the maker of rains! You can bring life to anything and anywhere you want.

Thank you for absolutely everything you have provided always, and you alone provide everything always!

My prayers come in verse, under the shelter of the night
they are offered drunk on mimosa,
as light as incense smoke,

Wow! So good!

Does anyone else have a prayer they can say? The above was more a series of personal statements about oneself, but I guess was also a kind of vow never to publically say prayers.

I don't think there is anything wrong with publically writing down prayers. Would anyone like to?

For my family,
to get through these hard times.
The Egyptians,
Especially those who lost loved ones in their fight for Liberty
For Iraq and Afghanistan
The families who've lost loved ones and the safety of the others who are still alive
For all other countries where the people are oppressed and protesting or fighting
And I often pray for my own country
The USA
We're at a crossroads.
I'm praying we the people don't make a deal.
I sometimes wonder if our government already has.
I pray the most for the children of the world.
God LOVES them the most as he should.

Good one actually, but I think that it is good to ask for things too. God's will is always done anyway, but prayer seems to be about getting God's will in your favor.
